I've copied my reply that I wrote on the talk page of the article below in case it gets deleted before you see it.
- ":I'm afraid that this does appear to be a copyright violation and so will need to be deleted. The source given is the tagging is [1] and this would appear to be much older than the wiki (as it shows a copyright of 1997) and in the absence of any information to the contrary I'd have to assume the above wiki is a copyright violation of that page. However even if the article has been released under the "GNU Free Documentation License 1.2" as the wiki page states we still could no accept it as that is no longer a compatible licence for wikipedia - see WP:CFAQ. Also you should note that it is against policy for a page creator to remove a speedy tag - they should add a hangon tag instead."

- For now, I think it is good enough to be de-prodded. But it still needs some improvement. The more sources, the better. I found that there are 247 items listed when entering her name into Google Books. I would recommend doing your own work do place as many relevant sources there as possible to prevent the article from being challenged. I also recommend adding the article to one or more categories where it may belong.
- I am not a deletionist, and I do not plan to propose it for deletion. I only came across this article when doing New Page Patrol, which I do occasionally. Being the creator, I recommend you try to improve the article as best as you can. Sebwite (talk) 22:00, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

Hi Vizjim, I am one of Ssenier's students working on the Native American authors articles. My page has been awaiting review for about 2 weeks, and I was notified this morning that my page was denied. I investigated the situation, only to find that the editor who denied it appears to be a new Wikipedia user without any edit history. While the lack of many sources for my article is an issue I recognize, I'm wondering what I can do about this denial, and/or about this editor who seems to lack the credentials to deny my article. Woops. Okay I'll make sure I change that around then. Still trying to add any information that may be vital for this page's survival in the wiki world! I did want to ask though, can a foreword be used as a reference? I mean, it's a very brief biography of the author but I have the impression that it's not considered a great source. Compared to others at least. Thank you very much though for the suggestion. I e-mailed your university e-mail to ask for a title for the assignment. I do realise how silly that was because you were abroad, but Annetta also told me that we do not have to do it after all. Is that true?

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite
Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! It's more effective than arguing.
