Hey it's me. I think that it should because it was on an album that's sold a million copies in the U.S. and it's a very good song. It's not doing anyone harm is it?

No, but it still has to pass the notability requirements. Otherwise you could write an article about nearly all Fleetwood Mac songs. Basically a song has to be a single (A-side) and it has to have charted somewhere as a single. Or, you have to find enough information and sources about it to write a much longer article. Okay, well I'm not going to do every song (even though every Beatles song has a wiki page), I will only do the songs from now on that are singles or that I can write a long article about.

Yeah, the Beatles are supposedly a "special case" although a lot of people argue about that. I see you've linked "Thoughts on a Grey Day" - sorry, that's nowhere near fit for a stand-alone article. Okay but guess what! That "forum post" is more reliable then half the things on wikipedia, go look at the post first it is reliable. "Thoughts on a grey day" will have more then the fourm post, please wait until I'm done typing. Please do not delete my work, i'm not doing much more after this and besides, am I wasting internet space? Is it wrong information? No! I don't see what the problem is. TOAGD will be longer then other song pages I made. Thank you.

I know most of the guys on that forum, and while they are posting in good faith, they make mistakes. Trying to find someone from the past is a lot harder than they think. I think it's maybe 50/50 that this woman is who they think it is. I'm not going to delete anything you do, but someone else might, and I can't stop them. It's not a question of internet space, it's more a question of Wikipedia's notability guidelines, and some people enforce them very strictly. This is not personal and there is no wish to discourage you from contributing. However, rightly or wrongly, Wikipedia does not want articles on every song ever. When selecting songs about which to create articles, WP:NSONGS will provide guidance. RichardOSmith (talk) 12:58, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

I'm not doing every song!!! Only the notable ones. Freedom was the only time that another person played percussion on a studio Fleetwood Mac song AND the only one that was co-written by Michael Campbell.

Ok, but whether that's notability or trivia is subjective. Wikipedia has a clear and straightforward definition: something is notable if there is non-trivial independent coverage of it in multiple reliable sources. Hello Visnvoisnvo, I thought I'd leave you a message as opposed to templating you with a discouraging message. First of all, you seem like a keen editor, which is always great to see on here, thankyou for your contributions, they're appreciated. I see that many, many, many articles you create end up being deleted or redirected, and I thought I'd explain why. It's not because editors are too lazy to contribute, and deleting is an easier option, it's nothing personal, and it's not because people don't like new pages. The reason is that most, if not all of the articles you create fail notability guidelines. Some of these guidelines are general to all articles, while some are specific to songs or albums. These guidelines are in place to keep chaotic, very minimal articles from flooding the site. I kindly ask you to read the guidelines I've linked before creating more articles. Should you make many more articles like you've made in the past, I'll have no choice but to contact admins and ask them to revoke your creation privileges. Fleetwood Mac Rumours

Please don't remove the valid list of studios at Rumours (album). These can be seen at the Mojo magazine article and in the Ken Caillat book.

Also, don't add the assertion that Nicks sequenced all the tracks. Nobody else confirms this statement by Nicks. For instance Ken Caillat says he had a small part in the track order. And Leah Furman writes about how the band decided against one of Nicks' favorite tracks, substituting "I Don't Want To Know" for the longer "Silver Springs" which Nicks very much wanted to have on the album. So Nicks did not "sequence" the tracks on the album, at least not alone, and not with any kind of veto power. Basically, it was Mick Fleetwood's final decision, since he was the band leader. It looks a lot like you're trying to say that Stevie Nicks wrote or contributed to most of those songs, which as we both know, is not true. Well aren't you getting a lot of attention! As you probably know, I'm Dobbyelf62. You've probably seen me around on various discussion logs and other articles. I would like to thank you for putting time into making all of these articles. I had planned to create many of these articles at one point or another but for some reason they would never happen. So it's nice to have someone doing all of this work. That being said, many of these articles have been proposed for deletion. While some of these I have opted for redirect (nothing personal), I have recently found all of your new articles very solid. So good job! I'm doing my best to improve these articles that have been proposed for deletion (I've already worked on Not That Funny and Rattlesnake Shake) and I plan to work on them even more. If I were you, I would hold off creating any more articles for now and make sure that the ones you've created survive. You can do this by adding more background information and sources. Reliable sources

Please try and use reliable sources for your additions. Unreliable sources include YouTube, Discogs and the Fleetwood Mac Ledge site and its discography. There is no editorial oversight on them. I would say that none of those were notable enough for their own article, as they didn't chart (if they were singles) and it's unlikely that there's enough reliable info on them to make a decent-sized article. Even though the artists are highly notable, and the album is notable, the individual songs are pretty obscure, except perhaps for "Crystal" as Fleetwood Mac recorded it as well. Hello! Normally when Wikipedia decides when to say someone won an election it is normally editors wait until an election is called the AP before making the declaration here. So until they call it we hold off. Cook Political report is a good source but you normally need more than one source to say someone has won an election so this is why we normally wait until the AP makes the call.
