I'm reviewing VIkkiX's article. Your topic is very interesting because I've also heard about the Temple Fair before. I think you can expand more on the history of the Temple fair and the different cultural customs in different areas. Also, I believe there are more food options during the day, hope you can find more authentic information about it. In general, the content is written in a neutral tone and full of credible resources. You did a good job! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jiajing Liu (talkcontribs) 22:17, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

peer review[edit]

I really like all the new information that you added for this topic you chose. I noticed that the original article did not have much content besides the leading section. I really like how you added the specific date and history for this particular Chinese activity. I also learned a lot from the activity section. I found it especially useful that you added information about other countries that also have Miaohui, and their unique activities. The tones are also relevantly neutral. My advice is that you can make some changes to the leading section, and give a guideline that includes each of the sections that you plan to introduce later. Also, I think that the contents are relevant to the topic, but you can consider rearranging the sequence of each section so that there can be connections between each section. For example, I think the “See Also” section can be put as the sub-section below “Outside China Mainland”---Violetzq (talk) 01:10, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback on your article[edit]

Greetings VikkiX! I'll looked at the changes you made and it looks like you've really written quite a lot!

A few things to fix before you move things over:

  • There are large parts of the text that do not include any references. Remember that the facts that you add need to be cited. Either add references to support your claims or feel free to cut back.
  • There are almost no wiki-links at all! You should link to articles about the Tang Dynasty and so on for readers that don't know about it.
  • The English is still a little rough. Please carefully proofread it before you copy this over.

I made a few small edits to the article to add headers instead of double-bullet lists. You should look at the history and try to make similar changes.

I think once the language is cleaned up and once you've made sure things are well cited, this will be ready to move over and make live. If you work hard, I'm sure you can do this by section on Friday. Good luck with that! —mako 03:49, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Benjamin Mako Hill: Hi Mako! I just make some edits based on your suggestion and hope these changes meet your expectation. Please let me know if there are any problems that I need to change. Thank you!  VikkiX (talk) 01:47, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
