Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Navanna requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://en.banglapedia.org/index.php?title=Navanna. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Disambiguation link notification for April 24[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mangifera laurina, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Griffith and Blume. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hallo, thanks for creating this. I just came across it and noticed a few problems:

  • You'd got the wrong name in the infobox - presumably from copying from another article without quite enough care, and not then proof-reading the article when you;d finished editing
  • You didn't put the species in bold as well as italics in the lead sentence: it needs to look like this
  • The reference is a "bare URL" so doesn't show us where you found the information in a readable format - please convert it into a standard WP citation
  • There are no links to other WP articles

I've fixed the first two problems, but leave the other two to you. PamD 07:50, 13 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting my edits[edit]

Hi. You have reverted two changes I made to Holly blue and Scarce copper. On the Holly blue article, I added an image of a female laying an egg. I consider this to be a valid edit with high EV. On the Scarce copper I replaced an image of a mounted specimen with an image of a live imago. This too is a valid edit and in line with normal practice. Can you explain why you have reverted these edits please. Charlesjsharp (talk) 08:10, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Charlesjsharp Sorry!!I didn't know that. I clicked that vandalism button without knowing how it works. :( ---Vengolis (talk) 15:24, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks. Can you revert the two edits then please otherwise it will look like an edit war. Charlesjsharp (talk) 15:39, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Done. Thank you for not misunderstanding me :) ---Vengolis (talk) 16:22, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Ivory Throne: Chronicles of the House of Travancore, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Debut (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Looking for help[edit]

Hi,

I was looking for some small help. I created a new article en:Kithaab-a play about women rights issues- which has been copy edited and is ready for translation in Malayalam languages ml:കിത്താബ്. Looking for your possible help in translating the remaining article en:Kithaab to your language article ml:കിത്താബ്. If you are unable to spare time yourself then may be you like to refer the same to some other translator.

Completing the article ml:കിത്താബ്. translation and updation on Malayalam Wikipedia will be helpful in accuracy of translations in other language wikipedias & other language wikipedias can be encouraged to translate before 8March women's day.

Sorry I do not know Malayalam other Indian languages properly. Translated article in Hindi with help of google translator seems reasonable. Translation and correction support most welcome.

Thanking you , with warm regards
