Thomas A. Whidden[edit]

You don't add bios of people you are working for because it creates a conflict of interest and makes it effectively impposible to be neutral.©Geni 21:23, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Look here at this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Sailmakers

How do we add additional notable (and history-making people) to this page?

Thank you, Veronica Vbrown2011 (talk) 13:02, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Tom Whidden has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Thomas Whidden[edit]

The references seem alright but you need to add them in the place that they link to in the article, to do this click where you need the reference on the edit page, then click cite, then templates/cite web and then enter URL in URL box ensure you press OK in the box and then save your changes. Hope this helps, Jamietw (talk) 19:52, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I think I have cited the references correctly now. Thank you for your help!!
