Copyright violations

Hello. You've twice introduced copyright violations into the Cobham F.C. article. You cannot copy text from another website directly into Wikipedia. If you continue to do this, you will be blocked from editing. In addition, as Vice-Chairman of the club, you have a clear WP:Conflict of interest and should not be editing the article. If you have any proposed changes, please discuss them at Talk:Cobham F.C..

You may also want to revisit your source, as the club did not win the Surrey Senior League in 1948–49; they finished fourth (you can see the table here). Cheers, Number 57 21:42, 15 June 2018 (UTC)

Hello. The comments above are not "legal nonsense" or "legal tosh". Please read our Wikipedia:Conflict of interest guidelines, particularly the WP:EXTERNALREL section – as Vice-Chairman, the sentence "For example, an article about a band should not be written by the band's manager" is probably the most relevant.

Also, the above text is not a threat – it's a warning of what would happen if you had continued to copy/paste the same text. As an administrator, I have previously blocked editors for copyright violations after they ignored this advice. Number 57 11:13, 16 June 2018 (UTC)

Can someone help please ?

Thank you for the recent help in tidying up the update I did on our history -looks fantastic .

However in the summary box on Cobham it rightly points to our League - Combined Premier but WRONGLY states we finished 14th out of 20 in division one in 2018/19 when we were of course in the premier division. I do not know how to edit the source of this error .

Please help .
