Please stop making non-neutral POV edits to the above article. The period from 2005 to 2012 could hardly be described as "Barca's predominance", since Barca only won their first one of that period in 2006 and the last one in 2011, plus they won three competitions in the intervening six years, including a gap of three years between their 2006 and 2009 wins. Furthermore, Alex Ferguson's quote is inappropriate in the place where you put it, as it gives an unfair impression of the game itself. Finally, if you want to help out with the article, I would suggest that you reorganise the whole thing so that there is less emphasis on recent years. Thanks. – PeeJay 06:44, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In case you don't know, "POV" in the above message stands for "point of view". The point is that you should not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. For example, such language as "Barcelona played a memorable game" is unsuitable, since what is "memorable" is an opinion, not a verifiable fact. I also notice that you have posted some of the same text, including that quote, five times. Repeatedly making the same, or partly the same, edit when you find that one or more other editors disagrees, known as edit warring, is unhelpful. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. JamesBWatson (talk) 17:14, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
