Thank you -- I am really tryig to do this right I am adding to the FW page an extremeley important set of Lexicons, based on almost all research on FW so far (from Clive Hart to James Atherton, and so many more). I would be grateful if you could enligten me on what I do wrong. Universitate ub (talk) 18:48, 14 September 2012 (UTC) Universitate UB[reply]

I would strongly advise you to immediately self-revert your latest edit, (before someone else does), and discuss your proposed additions at the article Talk Page, as I previously stated. Irrespective of the merit of the additions, your behaviour is highly problematic and may lead to your account being blocked. Stop reverting others and start discussing, to get them to perhaps change their minds. I have added your comment at the TP. Please elaborate there. Try adding a single link to your website, rather than multiple links. This is more likely to be accepted by other editors. . . Mean as custard (talk) 20:06, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

FW Lexicons[edit]

Thank you very much. What you say makes sense, so I will soon provide a global link for all of them, keeping your format.

September 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Finnegans Wake. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. While I have a certain sympathy with your edits, edit warring to insist on their inclusion will only antagonise other editors, will almost certainly lead to their removal in toto, and may lead to your being blocked. You would be well advised to make your case at the relevant Talk Page, where the possibility of some or all being added can be discussed in a collegial manner. RashersTierney (talk) 08:43, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop restoring the links to the article. A discussion has been started at Talk:Finnegans Wake#Sandulescu lexicons at 'External links. Please join the discussion. Continuing to restore the links is considered edit warring and may result in your being blocked. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 20:25, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.
