!!![edit]

You're very welcome. I'm going to be leaving Wikipedia very soon though. I will likely return in the distant future. Perhaps you have an e-mail so that we can keep in contact? By the way, remember to verify your e-mail on Wikipedia or you will receive objections at your RfA! —Eternal Equinox | talk 21:11, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mhm? Do you have an e-mail? —Eternal Equinox | talk 21:53, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I will e-mail you whenever I have the time and to update you on current events (which I will explain in a little while). —Eternal Equinox | talk 22:24, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It seems as though your honesty is going to fail your RfA — our community really is hopeless. Sorry about this. —Eternal Equinox | talk 00:37, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Request for Adminship[edit]

It is my regretful task to inform you that I have closed your request for adminship early as unlikely to achieve consensus. Please do not be discouraged; a number of users have had their first RfA end without consensus, but have been promoted overwhelmingly in a later request. Please continue to make outstanding contributions to Wikipedia, and consider requesting adminship again in the future. You may find Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship helpful in deciding when to consider running again. If I can be of any help to you, please do not hesitate to ask. Essjay (TalkConnect) 16:40, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't be discouraged. If you're really interested in adminship, I'd recommend taking the comments you received seriously, and spend some time at WP:RFA. This will give you an idea of what people are looking for. Jkelly 16:49, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Dear Underneath-it-All, thanks so much for your support during my recent successful request for adminship. I really appreciate it. Let me know if you need any administrative support; just leave me a message on my talk page or send me an e-mail if it's urgent. Take care -- Samir धर्म 06:10, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to the Military history WikiProject![edit]

Hi, and welcome to the Military history WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to military history.

A few features that you might find helpful:

There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:

  • Starting some new articles? Our article structure guidelines outline some things to include.
  • Interested in working on a more complete article? The military history peer review and collaboration departments would welcome your help!
  • Interested in a particular area of military history? We have a number of task forces that focus on specific nations or periods.
  • Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every military history article in Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the project coordinators, or any experienced member of the project, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Kirill Lokshin 02:20, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dannii Unreleased[edit]

I have started a page

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dannii_unreleased

can you tell me what you think, its not linked

Time to say goodbye[edit]

I will talk to you via email. My final edits will be made on Wikipedia on June 26. After this date, the only edits I will make will be occasional pop-culture updates. Thanks for your kindness and your time. Take care! —Eternal Equinox | talk 22:57, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Military history WikiProject Newsletter - Issue IV - June 2006[edit]

The June 2006 issue of the Military history WikiProject newsletter has been published. You may read the newsletter, change the format in which future issues will be delivered to you, or unsubscribe from this notification by following the link. Thank you. When you voted on the aforementioned RFA, you accidentally blanked most of the page (see [1]). This is due to a bug between Firefox and the Google toolbar. Any time you edit a page over 32K, you will see this message at the top of the page:

Attention Firefox and Google Toolbar users: You may find that long pages are cut off unexpectedly while editing in tabs; please be careful. This issue has been reported to Google, and we hope they will fix it.

Please be careful that if you edit a long page, you check to make sure that you didn't accidentally blank any of it. If the problem is noticed quickly, it is easily solved, but if it isn't noticed for a while, for obvious reasons, it can be annoying to fix. For more information about the bug, please see [2].

Irish Charts[edit]

I just noticed now that you added (quite a while ago, I just noticed now) to the Irish Singles Chart the sentence: Each chart is dated with the "week-ending" date of the following Friday. What is your basis for this? Every date of the charts is a Thursday. They are issued on Fridays and the date is always the Thursday the day before the chart is issued. Again, where did you get Friday after from? (I'm not being rude, I'm being sincere, I'm just curious as to where you saw that) - Рэдхот 12:42, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah. Now I get it. They're issued on the Friday (one part concurrent) after (both parts concurrent) they're dated for. Just the wrong way around ;) - Рэдхот 14:50, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Serenity[edit]

I noticed you uploaded the publicity shot for the Serenity (film) article in the Production area. Do you know where it came from? We need a source ;-) plange 04:46, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the GA promotion! Nice to see what little work I did to that article affirmed. I'll continue working on it and thanks again! Staxringold talkcontribs 17:21, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

T-34 for Featured Article[edit]

I think I have corrected or responded to all of the objections at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/T-34/archive1. User:Kirill Lokshin, who filed the first and most complete critique, has changed his vote to "support". I haven't followed every single objector's suggestion, so please have a look at the article and let me know if you would still like to see any changes, or if you are willing to give it support for FA. Thanks for the comments—the FA review has already resulted in some notable improvements to the article. Michael Z. 2006-07-13 17:47 Z

Unspecified source for Image:INXS The Greatest Hits.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:INXS The Greatest Hits.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. User:Angr 10:42, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
