Note that because of a new naming scheme, this template is the new default atheism-related userbox, replacing the former {{user atheist}}. Feel free to make new templates at {{user atheism2}}, {{user atheism3}}, etc. for variants, to input different fields when transcluding the template, or simply to use raw code (the last of which will also permit you to use the original message of "This user is an atheist." unhindered). Our apologies for any inconvenience; the mass Wikipedia:Userboxes/Religion move should be over soon. -Silence 20:46, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Were you looking for the User atheist template and ended up here instead? That is because someone changed the template to a redirect and then someone else protected it from being changed back. For discussion on which template should be where please see the Template talk:User atheist page. --StuffOfInterest 22:50, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Moving template[edit]

I am confused over all this moving of userboxes. Because my userpage got messed up after you redirected it I thougnt you were vandalising and changed it back. I am not sure exactly whats going on here so some explanation would be good please. Thanks --Mercifull 14:09, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Atheism/Atheist[edit]

Just wondering why this says "interested in atheism" and not "is an atheist" like all the other religious userboxes? --Mercifull 14:24, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • It's the difference between "User atheism" and "User atheist". One expresses interest and the other affiliation. FYI, I have a version of "User atheist" in my collection of boxes. --StuffOfInterest 17:36, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
