File:Croatia football federation.png[edit]

Hi TvrtkoZolja. File:Croatia football federation.png is a non-free image which means that its usage is subject to Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria; more specifically, this means each usage of the file must satisfy all 10 non-free content crieria. The non-free usage of this particular file was discussed at Wikipedia:Non-free content review/Archive 69#File:Croatia football federation.png and the consensus of that discussion was that the file's non-free usage OK for Croatian Football Federation, but not for other articles such as Croatia national football team, etc. If you disagree with this consensus, then please discuss your reasons for wanting to use the file with the closing editor (Brustopher) and the editor who nominated it for discussion (Stefan2). Since you are fairly new to Wikipedia, it's understandable that you were unaware of any discussion related to the file's usage, but now you know. Ignoring the consensus reached in that discussion and continuing to add the image (without trying to discuss it first) is eventually going to be seen as disruptive editing and possibly lead to an administrator becoming involved, which in turn might lead to you being blocked from editing for a period of time. So, my suggestion to you is try and discuss this with Brustopher and Stefan2 on their respective user talk pages and see what they say. If you try that and still are unable to achieve the result you want, then please follow the instructions in WP:CLOSECHALLENGE. Just for reference, in similar discussions about the usages of similar logos, the consensus has been that the logo is OK to use in articles about the national federation/association, but not OK to use in articles about individual teams or results based upon Number 17 of WP:NFC#UUI. -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:01, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Timestamp[edit]

Hi.

When you update statistics please remember that you should also update the timestamps as of when the stats are correct. This is done by manually updating the date above or below the statistics table. By doing this we show when the stats were last updated and it prevents other editors from accidentally updating the stats again.

Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 15:25, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Qed237: Hello, yeah i always remember to do it. If i miss some i'm sorry! I will check all of them TvrtkoZolja (talk) 15:27, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stats in football players' infoboxes and update of career stats[edit]

Hi.

When you update the stats in football players' infoboxes please remember that you should also update the timestamps as of when the stats are correct. This is done by updating |pcupdate= (or |club-update=) parameter when updating club appearances and goals, or |ntupdate= (or |nationalteam-update=) when updating national team appearances and goals. The easiest way to do this is to use five tildes, which automatically converts to the current time. For example |club-update=~~~~~.

When you update the career statistics please remember that you should also update that timestamp as well to a time when the stats are correct. This is done by manually updating the date above or below the statistics table. By doing this we show when the stats were last updated and it prevents other editors from accidentally updating the stats again.

This is done to show other editors when the stats were last updated and prevent them from accidentally updating the stats again, and also it shows readers that it has been updated.

Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 21:03, 5 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
