This is an automated message from VWBot. I have performed a search with the contents of The Kickass(band), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: The Kick ass(Band). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. VWBot (talk) 04:30, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Kickass(band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Re: The Kickass(Band)[edit]

Re your message: Your articles were deleted because you asked for the first one to be deleted and then second one you blanked, which is inferred to be that you want it deleted. If you want the second one restored to your user space so that you can work on it, I can do so for you.

In order to make an article about the band so that it remains on Wikipedia, the first thing you need to do is make sure that the band meets the guideline for inclusion. For example, if the band has yet to release an album through a major label or indie label, then they likely do not meet the guideline. See the guideline for other criteria that the band could meet in order to establish notability.

What you might want to do is look at some of the existing progressive rock group articles and use them as a template. Wikipedia also has a guide on writing your first article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:28, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: Not a problem. If I can be of any further assistance, feel free to ask. I restored the article into your user space at User:Trevorswiki123/The Kickass (band). You can edit it there without having to worry about it being deleted for not meeting the notability guidelines. I also reverted it to the revision that it was before you blanked it. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:23, 24 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
