Reverting vandalism/assuming good faith

Please read WP:VAND#What vandalism is not as many of your edit summaries have refered to reverting vandalism when they were not. Please try to make sure your edit summary accurately descibes your edit. Thank you. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 20:22, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

You are appreciated

Please don't feel that we don't appreciate you. You just can't have everything your own way all the time. There were bound to be disagreements eventually. Come back soon. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 01:41, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

I second that. You are appreciated, we all just have differing opinions on this one issue that's all. We've all had our ideas rejected on here at one time or another, it really isnt anything personal against you. Hope you return soon too :o) Gungadin 02:02, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
And now you have a heart for your awards page :) — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 21:00, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Centered headings

I've noticed you've added center tags to two navigational boxes that I've edited now. Is the text not centered in your browser? I only ask because the text in tables that use the navbox class should be centered automatically. J Di 16:25, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Nope, it's half way between left aligned and centre aligned... -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 16:26, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
Ah, I think that's because of {{tnavbar}} and the div tags. J Di 16:30, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
By the way, what browser are you using? J Di 16:30, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
Internet explorer. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 16:38, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

I suppose not. Though I could dig up the MSN conversation we were having at the time... -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 01:13, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Hmm I'm sure I could dig up some MSN conversations too... Oi you copied my other languages thing! — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 14:42, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Oh, no! I didn't realise it was you! -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 15:01, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Fat Bastard

Fat Bastard was the name of the character, if you don't believe me go and watch the episode on YouTube and if you take a proper look at the end credits it's even there so why do you keep taking it out?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jkaharper (talkcontribs)

Katfuntt

I am a bit of a chubby lad, so that was a bit of the rationale for the username - as my first four or five choices were unavailable. On the other hand, I did feel that the original intent was adequately masked so as not to cause offence. I don't feel that the name itself is inherently offensive or particularly inappropriate, but will change it (under mild protest)if it's felt necessary. Katfuntt 23:30, 8 March 2007 (UTC)Allan

Re:Removal of content from my user page

I'm not sure I see the humor in calling someone a cunt, and I don't recall reading something in WP:NPA saying that a profane name-calling is justifiable when the intention is humor. Either way, I'm not looking to cause a problem, so I'm not going to revert the removal. I disagree that it's appropriate though. Leebo T/C 16:08, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

According to WP:USERPAGE, it is inappropriate, and so I have removed the change. If you have any questions, you may contact me on my talk page. -- Merope 16:53, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

But

Why aren't they allowed? Loads of stuff on here has external likes to fansites etc.. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SkinsRockz (talkcontribs)

Trampikey, just for future, you can warn about external links using {{uw-spam1}} and the other user warning templates in the uw-spam series. The guideline about fansites is at WP:EL. I would have told the user in question that as well but they've been indefinitely blocked so there's no point! — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 22:52, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 23:06, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

You are still listed on the Admin coaching request page

Your name is still listed at Requests for an admin coach. If you are no longer looking for a coach, or you currently have one, please remove yourself from that list.

The instructions for getting or receiving a coach have changed. It's now a self-help process: just look for a coach from the list of coaches, and contact one. See the instructions on Wikipedia:Admin coaching. Good luck.

Thank you. The Transhumanist    01:51, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

User Trampikey

What you are doing is posting incorrect info to the Emmerdale cast page on Wiki. Please

stop. Readers do not want speculation as to who may be coming or going as it is not only

unconfirmed but also spoils future storylines for those viewers. Gudyrinit.

Examples: Character: Eddie Hope-Was in departed when he has not. Now you have him nowhere. Del Dingle-Cast have been known to sign new contracts at the last minute so leave her in until she goes. New cast: Unless advised by the production centre do not quote anyone as coming in.

Remember Wiki needs sources for ALL info.

Digital Spy is NOT an accredited source. The ONLY accredited source for Emmerdale is the press office at 27 Burley Road Leeds. Please do not forget that both sides can change their mind between now and the departure date plus do you care nothing for the feelings of people who simply do not want to know about their favourite characters in advance? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gudyrinit (talkcontribs)

Shut Up and Get a Hobby

I don't know u and u don't know me, how rude are you to say I'm a beggar it's like a stranger tells you "you're ugly". Mind ur own business if you have any because I have no time and don't want to waste time for losers--HW-Barnstar PLS 14:18, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

Trampikey, I think it's up to Hotwiki to decide what he does with his time on Wikipedia, if he wants to ask for Barnstars, we should let him. If he wants to ignore what people say, that's up to him. He's a good editor so leave him alone. — AnemoneProjectors (zomg!) 14:21, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
I'm just expressing an opinion about how annoying it is for someone to beg for barnstars. That's all. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 14:23, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks AnemoneProjectors, I really put some well tons hard work in Wikipedia and all I'm asking is for a barnstar why why you keep doing this to me leave me alone I can't.... cant it anymore after all this years I've been here in Wikipedia you keeping saying all those dirty things I don't need no good advice I don't need some other life cold and complicated I don't need no Sunday trips to act sympathising I don't need no special fix to anaesthetise me--HW-Barnstar PLS 14:31, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

What!? Is this guy for real? -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 14:34, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, but that was just a laugh out loud moment. As far as I'm concerned I've expressed my opinion now, and see no reason to continue this childishness. So thank you for your... erm... feedback... and goodbye. :) -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 14:36, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

I am curious as to why you continue to edit the above template without ever leaving reason why. Even without the actors, the organization of the template would work much better if characters and minor characters were separated, I believe. Romarth 21:31 - 25th March - 2007

  • But they appear on the Friends template. And I think we should make a bigger reference to the fact the the first seven characters are the show's main characters. - Romarth

character section

Hey, Ive finished doing the character section rewrite User:Gungadin/sandbox2. Can you have a read and let me know what you think when you get the chance. And that name is Nadezhda - Irina Diva. Gungadin 21:30, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi, seeing you have been involved in previous Afd debates on the subject I invite you to contribute to this discussion to clarify certain issues about football player notability. I think clearer guidelines are needed to avoid repeated inappropriate nominations for deletion and time consuming discussions. Cheers! StephP 22:23, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Richard Cole

Why did you revert my change to Richard Cole. I added the nickname Tricky Dicky next to his name cos that is what he is sometimes known as. Nick Cotton has the same thing and also Dirty Den as well. There's nothing unnessary about adding a nickname or tabloid name next to the character's real name is it?Shakirfan 01:26, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

No, but it is already mentioned in bold on the next line, so there was no need to add it in again. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 01:50, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

I didn't add it again. I just cut and paste it next to the real name.plus it doesnt' sound right to add it at the start of the introduction as to when he arrived.--Shakirfan 03:35, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

As you can see here - you added it in when it was already there. I treated this as duplicate information and removed it. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 10:07, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Oh right my mistake. I thought I had cut and paste it. I had actually copied and pasted it. Thanks for the pointing that out. I have not been sleeping much so my brain is not working properly heh.Shakirfan 13:06, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Market

Hey, does any EE article have anything about the turpin road/bridge street market? I had a look but couldnt see anything on the lists. Where do you think it would be appropriate to add some info on it? Gungadin 12:38, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

I think it would probably be most appropriate on Walford, if it's not there already... -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 13:08, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, I didn't think to check there.Gungadin 14:39, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

about my blocked account

look listen i cannot put the unblock template on my page as its strangely blocked my user from doing so. I vandalised Jim Ross's page because it was only my IP, I mainly used my Danh90 account to make sensible edits and trust me if its unblocked now i will be on my best behaviour with it —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.147.104.9 (talkcontribs)

It doesn't matter if it's an IP or a user account, you don't vandalise. At all. And when you do, like you persistantly did with your various accounts, not just IP addresses, you deserve to be blocked. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 00:12, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
