Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Christopher Dock Mennonite High School.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Username[edit]

Hi, I realize that you are involved in editing Towamencin Township related articles, but I just wanted to clear up whether you are officially affiliated with the township or if this is possibly a role account for the township. Accounts need to be accessible to only one person, so a township role account would not be allowed. Leebo T/C 15:52, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No I am not a Township employee, and I have a phobia about sharing passwords, so no, only I know the password. My only affiliation is as a long time resident, and a member of one of the townships advisory committees [1][2]. Towamencin 12:18, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's good. I'm not sure if you are familiar with the individual whose username is User:Ailde or not, but he and I have had disagreements on whether certain content belongs in the Towmencin article, namely the strategic plan. I just wanted to make it clear that I think a brief section discussing the plan is appropriate, but not a large section recanting it word-for-word. Thanks for making the effort to make the article comprehensive. Leebo T/C 17:41, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted the image file File:Towamencin Trails.jpg as it was clearly copied from the Towamencin Township web page (see http://www.towamencin.org/ParksandRec/trails.htm ) but was licensed using the {{PD-Self}} license. I deleted it under CSD I9 - if you believe this was in error, please take it to WP:DRV. Thanks, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 20:02, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Towamencin Trails.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Towamencin Trials.jpg. This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 11:14, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Towamencin Township Map with legend.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Towamencin Township Map with legend.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:19, 17 May 2011 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 23:19, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Calvary Baptist School.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Calvary Baptist School.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:21, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
