1919–20 Football League[edit]

There are a few issues with this edit you made to 1919–20 Football League, which is why I have reverted it. While the existing article could use some improvement and there may well be value in what you are trying to add, please bear in mind the following:

  • When citing magazines or journals (such as Athletics News), please try to be as specific as possible regarding issue number, publication date and page numbers. Short quotes from those publications to back up the claims being made may also be appropriate here.
  • When commenting on the article itself, please do so on the article's talk page, Talk:1919–20 Football League. Phrases like "It has been argued in Wikipedia below" do not make for a coherent article. Even though Wikipedia is a collaborative project with many editors, we need to make it appear as seamless as possible for the reader. That means weighing up differing viewpoints rather than just airing them one after another.
  • Those articles mentioned appear to be your own blog. You need to be careful when citing yourself as this could constitute a conflict of interest. Better to draw attention to those articles using the aforementioned talk page and propose edits that someone else could make.

I trust this is useful and I hope you won't be discouraged from contributing. If you are interested in improving football articles on Wikipedia more generally, there is a project, WikiProject Football, that you might wish to join. Thanks. --Jameboy (talk) 17:37, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
