License tagging for Image:CSS Studio.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:CSS Studio.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:05, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Holy Hill[edit]

According to the Erin, Wisconsin town website, Holy Hill is located in Erin, Wisconsin. Also 2 Wisconsin county atlases put Holy Hill in Erin, Wisconsin.Thank you-RFD 18:22, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your image of Holy Hill is currently featured on the main page representing the shrine. The article is listed in the Did You Know section for the best new articles. It is considered a new expansion because I expanded it from a 4 sentence stub to a decent-sized article. Another contributor liked the image so much that he requested that your image be displayed on the main page! Nice snap! Royalbroil 15:50, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Cathedral of St. Helena, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.sthelenas.org/history.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Speedy deletion of Leptat glass[edit]

A tag has been placed on Leptat glass, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ukexpat (talk) 19:24, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spam[edit]

I assume that you work for Conrad Schmitt Studios so we will be watching you closely for spam. However the only spammy thing about the Leptat glass article seemed to be the ® symbol - which we do not need in Wikipedia. So I have rescued it from speedy deletion. However if you want to demonstrate that you are not a spammer, you will: start the glass engraving article, include in it a note about Leptat glass and turn Leptat glass into a redirect. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 23:19, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your question[edit]

Thank you for your message - I deleted the page because it did not assert the importance of the subject - that's to say that it failed the criteria at WP:CSD. If you disagree then I will happily review my decision, or alternatively you can ask for it to be reviewed by other administrators at WP:Deletion review. Feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. GBT/C 23:02, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Stained Glass Association of America[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Stained Glass Association of America, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Association with no assertion of notability.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 12:40, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Dedication Mass.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Dedication Mass.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 07:03, 9 September 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 07:03, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Addition to Hardman page[edit]

Your edit has been deleted. The heading reads Early 19th century English firms (ie Hardman's early competitors). The name that you added was neither early 19th century or English. An understanding of a late 19th century US firm throws no light on the subject of Hardman and Co, and is not a useful link (out of the hundreds of links possible. Multiple consecutive edits, edit summaries[edit]

Hello Tom- I'd like to make a couple suggestions, if you don't mind. It will be easier for you and your co-editors to collaborate on articles if, instead of making multiple consecutive edits a minute or two apart on an article, you use the "Show preview" button to view your changes incrementally before finally saving the page once you're satisfied with your edits. It also helps if you provide an edit summary. Thanks in advance for considering this.

Your upload of File:ConradNotreDame.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Conrad Schmitt Studios. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. 32.218.46.214 (talk) 21:01, 15 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Adrian Wewer. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion.
