Time's Up (Interactive Artists)[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Time's Up (Interactive Artists). Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Hello! Do you have any additional news articles or books that discuss Time's Up? The generic name makes it very difficult to find information to add from reliable sources. I'm concerned that the article as it stands may not meet our notability guidelines and may be deleted if challenged. If it has been discussed in English-language books and newspapers specifically, we may be able to demonstrate notability and relevance. Please list any of them on the talk page. In addition, Wikipedia has rules on conflict of interest which advise against editing in article space if you are closely connected to a subject. Since your name suggests you are, please do not edit the article, but instead add information on the article's talk page, and I will add it if appropriate. I'd like to work with you on salvaging this article if possible. Thanks! Jokestress (talk) 20:04, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. To confirm: yes, I am involved in Times Up - I consciously did not try to cover this up by choosing some kind of anonymous name. As the organisation is European, the vast majority of the articles about it are in German, French, etc. Several of the articles are in German titled books but in English, especially arts catalogues. From my reading about the "notability" requirements, it is not necessary to have English language references. I have attempted to make the article's tone neutral (unlike a few others that I have edited to take the advertising out of them!) and nonpersonal. We have a whole collection of articles on Time's Up since 1997, unfortunately most are in German. Hmm. "My personal favourite" in http://www.leonardo.info/reviews/nov2004/ars_engeli.html or French: (Arte is one of the most important cultural TV stations in Europe) http://www.arte.tv/fr/628946,CmC=698802.html or German again: http://diepresse.com/home/leben/reise/153169/Update-an-der-Donau I hope you can help "salvage" the article!

A tag has been placed on User:Timesuptim/Julian Oliver, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
