Hello Diannaa - Thanks for taking the time to check my work and helping me understand the type of content to focus on so as to maintain the encyclopedic nature of the Wikipedia pages, I really appreciate it.
One clarification I had regarding "copying text from other sources" was around how to approach that for a topic like "Uniform", which really just included a list of items (clothing in this case). Would you mind advising how I should proceed in a situation like that where I need to describe a list of items from a source without causing any copyright issues?
Apologies for the inconvenience, and once again, I appreciate the guidance and the welcome.

Hello @Diannaa - Apologies but I'm still learning some of the basics and I realized that I didn't tag you properly on my initial reply. As such, wanted to ping you properly and see if you had any advice for my previous question. Once again, I appreciate the guidance and the welcome.

The problem is that it's more than just a list of clothing; it gives a detailed description of each item of clothing. That's enough creative expression to qualify for copyright protection. Regardless, such a level of detail is inappropriate for an encyclopedia. You wouldn't find it in a paper encylopedia, and we don't want it here. There's school colors in the infobox; that's sufficient.— Diannaa (talk) 20:24, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Diannaa - That makes sense, thanks for the clarification and I'll keep that in mind going forwards. And again, appreciate all the help and guidance. The Shadow Hokage (talk) 05:05, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
