Blocked[edit]

Please, I am not a violator and I wish you didn't block/punish me. My contributions have been legitimate and productive (and even thanked), and I only truly edit things that I am passionate about: e.g. film awards. Yes, I might go a little overboard at times, but I only do what I do because I truly love Wikipedia, and am passionate about Oscar season and the precursor awards throughout film awards seasons. So, please, reconsider your decision and hopefully you will unblock me, for I am truly being sincere. If you need any reassurance, please ask Cinemaniac86; we have both communicated with each other in the recent past about the same subjects that we admire, as this user will vouch for me. Please! Please! Please! The Keyblade Master (talk) 05:50, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

On behalf of @The Keyblade Master, I thought the notification claimed I blocked him from the condensed text! Alas, @NinjaRobotPirate, I apologize that I can't really truncate my words further than this, but I'm busy today, so I hope my loquacious text below will be somewhat coherent! :But ya....What the...? Bizarre occurrence. The Keyblade Master, AFAIK, is a legitimate, respectable, highly efficient, reliable, judicious in regards to Wikipedia standards, and flexible editor. I can 100% vouch for them, since our paths have crossed this awards season, as to at least being an editor in good faith. :For starters, Keyblade, I would advise you perhaps to, uh, stop blanking your talk page. This may work in your favor! Not that they don't check history, but still....So I recommend admins to please take a gander at Keyblade's talk page history. We did most of our communicating on their talk page rather than mine or the article's to discuss our own edits; not to collude or anything. :*There was separate talk page discussion in which I partook for consensus stuff in regards to reducing the gargantuan trivial overload and the divisive "snubs" section. :Also, you'll notice dating as far back as the date of the nominations two weeks ago, Keyblade and I were by far the most active editors on the page doing our best to maintain the page's content. :*To speak frankly, I did try to rein Keyblade in—trimming down phrasing, ensuring neutrality. Keyblade was great w/ collecting references and quoting. I took an edit break, and then poof, this ping this morning! "Emmy Expert" sockpuppet is an account I have NEVER encountered. (But it's blocked, so...duh, lol.) :So all I can testify is that the editing that Keyblade has done here was done with good faith and good intentions, and when asked to desist from adding excessive trivia or remove irrelevant fluff, they complied and did so. Thus, I see them capable of growth at the very least, for what it's worth. And if it's a mixup, then it is definitely possible for 2 users to have similar names and/or people from the same metro area to love awards.--Cinemaniac86TalkStalk 14:23, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

We will not consider an unblock request like this. If The Keyblade Master wishes to contest their block, they are free to do so. Yamla (talk) 14:57, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

P.S. And I should also add that I was not requested to vouch for Keyblade by any outside means, or in any other way, other than the ping above on this very page which summoned me. So I'm not sure how appropriate it might be, but this is my first time ever being involved in something of this nature. Thus, forgive me, because I'm naïve regarding this and can't know every single Wiki rule, after all, by memory! Must tend to grandmother caretaker duties now. Please ping me if anything further is required, thanks. Good luck.

Right. Someone who makes death threats from sock puppet accounts is a "legitimate, respectable, highly efficient, reliable, judicious" editor. Give me a break. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 15:11, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
