A tag has been placed on File:Aeon Calcos.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 08:49, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:All 4 One - Clank.png

Thanks for uploading File:All 4 One - Clank.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 16:46, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Mega Man-SFXT.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Mega Man-SFXT.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 19:13, 12 May 2012 (UTC)

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on SuperBot Entertainment, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. The article Ninja (Puppet Master) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability; it's a "character" in a B-horror movie.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Baby Oopsie Daisy (Demonic Toys), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Baby Oopsy Daisy (character). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 14:23, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

"Character" articles

Hi, by now it should be clear to you that articles such as these are not according to our notability guidelines. I will redirect them one more time and would appreciate if you can leave the redirects in place. The next time those edits are undone, I'll have to take these articles to AfD and (as the outcome is certain) that would be a waste of everybody's time. Thanks. --Guillaume2303 (talk) 06:49, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Notability Guidelines

TEDS, you have made numerous pages which clearly do not meet wiki's requirements under WP:NOTE. Two weeks ago, I had to tag a slew of your articles related to characters from the Puppet Master movies. I was hoping that would be the end of it, but now you've started adding yet more pages that are going to have to be deleted. I love B-horror movies, but my love for these movies and characters does not mean the characters are therefore notable. Clearly, the pages for the actual movies can stay. But, you aren't going to be able to find sufficient reliable sources to demonstrate notability for the individual characters. If you have questions regarding what constitutes notability, feel free to ask me. But, I would appreciate it if you would refrain from making these pages so we don't have to go through the trouble of quickly deleting them. It's a waste of many people's time. Thank you! If you want make a Sodom article, you've to - guess what - make it, and make it good. This article was merged several years ago for a good reason and the notability criteria did not loosen since then. --Niemti (talk) 19:20, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

Also don't redirect the sourced article about the character whose notability has been proven, such as you did with Oro. --Niemti (talk) 20:33, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

ALSO don't link to non-existing images. --Niemti (talk) 20:34, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

Please do not assume ownership of articles such as Sodom (Final Fight). If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you. Your edit summary ("Please do not edit this page") is not acceptable and a blatant violation of WP:OWN CyanGardevoir (used EDIT!) 10:00, 26 June 2012 (UTC)

Please respect decisions made at AfD discussions. If you continue reverting this kind of community decisions, you risk being blocked from editing, because this is considered serious vandalism. Thanks. --Guillaume2303 (talk) 08:42, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 9 (character), you may be blocked from editing. Specific issue: Constant edit warring CyanGardevoir (used EDIT!) 11:00, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

Do you actually READ this??

TEDS, you've been here less than 2 months and already you have an impressive collection of warnings and notifications on your talk page. Don't you think it's time to start talking with the people that take the effort to post notes here? Hasn't it dawned on you yet that perhaps there's a problem with the content that you are trying to add here? This is an encyclopedia, not your personal website. Please start communicating with people, at a minimum at least acknowledge that you have seen these notices. Then start reading the policies and guidelines that are linked in all those notices. Getting familiar with the basics of WP and then applying those guidelines in your edits will significantly reduce the number of edit wars and disagreements that you're getting into. It would save you a lot of time and effort (and other people, too). At this point, I have to say that the way you are acting, you're heading towards increasingly lengthy blocks for vandalism and edit warring, probably ending with a site ban. --Guillaume2303 (talk) 11:32, 30 June 2012 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Grizzly Teddy (Demonic Toys), you may be blocked from editing. Repeatedly trying to revert a redirect that was the result of a community decision at AfD is considered vandalism and may get you blocked. Guillaume2303 (talk) 16:32, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Zombietoid (Demonic Toys), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Please do not revert community decisions as reached at AfD. Guillaume2303 (talk) 18:08, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
