As was indicated directly above, this does not establish the notability of the subject. That does not mean the subject is not notable, just that it was not established by the article. Read WP:ATHLETE - in order to qualify for an article, an athlete needs "to have competed at the fully professional level of a sport." If he is taken on by Arsenal, and if he then plays for their first team, then he will count as notable and can have an article. JohnCD (talk) 17:11, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Creating articles for other football players[edit]

Sure, you can create new articles. First read Wikipedia:Starting an article. I would advise you to look through current, existing articles to get an idea of the proper WP format. You may also find WP:AFC useful. Plastikspork (talk) 20:43, 8 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
