Hello Folks --- I'm totally new at this, so I hope I haven't made any serious errors.

I do have a question that I've not found any "help" on...

I used the wrong term to title a page and couldn't figure out how to change it...so I copied all the text, links & pix to a new page with the correct title. Is there another fix possible?

Should/can I delete the bad/incorrect version?

Also... I cannot get either to come up when I do a search using either title(???)

Many thanks for this marvelous idea

There are several different questions here, so I'll address each one separately:
  1. In the future, put the {{helpme}} template on your user page. It's not about the content of the article, so it doesn't really belong on the article's talk page. Understandable, though. I've moved it here for you, so no worries.
  2. You can "move" a page (put it under a different title) by clicking the "move" tab at the top of the page. The current title will become a page that automatically redirects to the new page.
  3. If you want to delete a page, you can't do it yourself; only administrators can actually delete pages. You can add {{db-author}} to the page, and someone will delete it shortly.
  4. There are conventions for naming articles. See Wikipedia:Naming conventions. If it's not showing up in the search, it may be because you aren't typing the title exactly as it is in the article. Article titles are case-sensitive, so it must be typed exactly. Also, it sometimes takes a little while for the search cache to be updated, so an article won't be immediately found via search.
Hope that helps. If you have further questions, just comment here, or put them on my talk page. I'm happy to respond.
One other thing: When you add a comment to a talk page, make sure you put 4 tildes ( ~~~~ ) after it. That will automatically insert your name and the date, so that others know who made the comment, and when.
