Housekeeping: Redirected to Brent Lee Morel CPT USMC, so there's only one copy, but it's reachable under either name. --John Nagle 05:22, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Matt Maupin POW/MIA[edit]

I'm not quite sure what you're referring to, as I don't recall ever editing Maupin's article or any related pages. :-) Kirill Lokshin 05:40, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the Matt Maupin photograph[edit]

Hi Swump, in response to your question, the photo itself is ok for the article however I'm afraid the frame and caption on it will have to be "removed" or in other words it will have to be changed for the same photo with no caption or frame. This is not my decision but simply the policy on Wikipedia in order to have articles looking more encyclopedic. I can assure you that if I left the photo you added to the page there, it will be taken down within a day because of this reason. I did not add the photograph that was previously there to the article however I did make some changes to in order to improve the article. The best I can do is add this same photograph which I found on the U.S. Army website http://www4.army.mil/OCPA/uploads/large/2006/OCPA-2006-07-13-125455.jpg.

I will create a new photo via Wikimedia Commons and this will the appropriate details. Thats really the best I can do.

In regards to your offer to help out by adding info to the page, you don't need anyone's permission to do that, nor anyone else for that matter. Feel free to add information to the page, however make sure the information you are adding has appropriate citation. For more on this check WP:CITE. --James Bond 06:45, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
