Tom Frank Peters

Hi SunDawn, I hope this is the correct way to contact you - I am not all that computer savvy! I added my own name as I plan to put in a wikipedia article on myself. I am tired of being confused with Thomas J. Peters (born 1942) who calls himself "Tom Peters" as that is my real name (i.e. Tom Frank Peters). I publish under the name Tom F. Peters (you can google my numerous articles and books).

Best, Tom Tom Frank Peters (talk) 17:36, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
Hello Tom! Hopefully you have a good day today. And yes, this is the correct way to contact me. First of all I wanted to state that writing an article about yourself is greatly discouraged per WP:AB. It created a conflict of interest, and while it is technically allowed to do so, editors are greatly discouraged to do so because of neutrality and conflict of interest issues. If you have any questions, please do ask! Have a blessed day! ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 21:12, 22 December 2023 (UTC)

The squad

I do not understand why you say there's no source for what I added. The page itself states that the main agenda of the squad is Israel.. so why is it wrong to put it on top? Furthermore, the squad refused to condemn the October 7th massacre: 6 out of its 8 members voted against the declaration (unlike 412 Democrats and Republicans who voted in favor of the decision). link: https://thehill.com/homenews/house/4276005-these-democrats-voted-against-resolution-backing-israel/

Is it not worth to mention that a squad that represents Justice Democrats, is in fact against justice when it comes to Jews? I think this information is important. It's not an opinion - 6 out of 8 squad members voted *against* the decision to condemn Hamas - after it massacred 1400 people, many of whom were babies, children and elderly. The terrorists filmed themselves and broadcasted live both the acts of killing and maiming, and the act of raping. It is not a hearsay, or agenda - it is a fact. 412 congress members condemned this massacre, and only 10 refused. 6 of them were squad members that only consists of 8 people.. This information is critical since: 1. The Squad is a political force, therefore the anti-Jewish agenda should e clearly represented in the article. 2. The squad represents "Justice Democrats" - and therefore it's important to note that when they say justice, they don't see it as an absolute value. 2A0D:6FC2:4450:FA00:114E:5EA6:E26A:9D7 (talk) 21:19, 22 December 2023 (UTC)

Hello! First of all thank you for engaging in the discussion. From my personal view, I do think what Hamas did to Israel is atrocious and what The Squad doing to Israel is atrocious as well. However, Wikipedia is not the place to right great wrongs. Every statement must be backed up by sourcing, and while we may infer they are vocally targeting Israel and the Jews, such statement is not brought up by the sources. If you find any other reputable sources that are clearly stating that the squad is targeting Israel, you can place it on the article. If you have any questions, please do ask! I will help you. Have a blessed day. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 22:03, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
Hi, first of all thanks for being so nice. I appreciate it.
Regarding the sources - the first source is actually the Wikipedia page of DSA (The umbrella organization of the squad).
Democratic Socialists of America Policy and ideology section specifies that: "The DSA underwent major ideological shifts after 2016, when many young new members brought DSA to adopt anti-Zionist and pro-Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions positions"
Second source is
DSA official statement which was issues on October 7th - the day of the massacre. On that very day, when Israel have lost 1400 people and more than 200 people were kidnapped, DSA announced:
"Today’s events are a direct result of Israel’s apartheid regime—a regime that receives billions in funding from the United States. End the violence. End the Occupation. Free Palestine."
I don't think there is a way to interpret this statement in any way beside a justification for a genocide. To claim a terror attack on civilians - including molesting, maiming, raping and killing - is well deserved: meaning that killing and torturing someone due to his race and nothing more - this is the basic definition of racism.
The squad are all members of DSA, even now - 2 months after that sheer racist statement, which DSA hasn't taken back.
Third source is
BDS official site - which declares DSA have joined BDS.
The site self description is:
"This website is maintained by the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC), the coalition of Palestinian organisations that leads and supports the BDS movement and by the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI), a BNC member organisation."
If you need more sources - I don't think it'll be hard to find. Let me know and again thank you for clarifying what was missing. 2.53.190.171 (talk) 12:20, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
Hello and I have you have a great day. The problem with your references is that from your references, we need to still made the inference (which might be very biased) that "The Squad" intentionally targets Israel and the Jews. The reference needs to plainly state "known for targeting Israelis and Jews" if you wanted to place such statement. If you have anymore questions please do ask! I would gladly help you. If you intent to contribute more, I would advise you to create a Wikipedia account as it will give you better anonymity - if you contribute without an account your IP is shown to the world - which might not be a good thing for you. ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 03:46, 24 December 2023 (UTC)

Re:December 2023

Oh sorry, I should've explained what I did in the edit. I replaced the table of the list of US Military Aircraft with the template it represented. I had realized that the table, which I had thought was a template, was not actually the template, so I replaced it. I'm sorry if you don't understand, I'm not good at writing out these sort of messages. Ohaheakea (talk) 03:45, 26 December 2023 (UTC)

What I'm basically saying is, nothing was actually removed, and may I please revert your good faith reverts? Ohaheakea (talk) 19:37, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
I don't think it's a problem, and apologies for reverting too quickly. I see someone has reverted my edit anyway. Have a good day! ✠ SunDawn ✠ (contact) 15:52, 27 December 2023 (UTC)
