Mr JuJube, I sincerely appologize if I have violated any policies of Wikipedia. I assure you this was never my intention. I respect Wikipedia for what it is and would like to contribute to the best of my capacity.

But please consider my situation, I am absolute newbie when it comes to editing in Wikipedia. In fact FWWB is the first page I am creating.

But before I can create and submit the page for review, it was deleted twice. Now I am not sure if i can create a page without publishing it. If there is a way please guide me. Publishing new articles with speedy tags already on them is never a good idea. Apparently, the article you have now is valid and the tags were taken off, but next time you create an article and it gets deleted, the best way to go is to leave a message with the admin who deleted it. WP:DRV is the 2nd step. JuJube 10:42, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Fwwb.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Fwwb.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 22:36, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Page layout at Kalimpong[edit]

Please understand that the page layout that you see will be nothing like the layout that most other people see. People read our articles on old phones, smartphones, tablets, laptops, desktop PCs and wide-screen televisions - and probably other devices. Furthermore, these devices will have different resolutions and visible screen widths, depending on toolbars and other add-ons.
The reason NOT to add Px is that the viewer's preferences (set in Preferences > Appearance) will control the image size to what the viewer wants. They may have visual problems and normally use very large images - but you are forcing it to be smaller, or they may have an old phone and want small images, but you are forcing it to be larger. - Arjayay (talk) 17:18, 24 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Recent addition of photos to Kalimpong[edit]

You have recently added 46 photos to the article Kalimpong. Generally, photos are to be added to articles in reasonable quantity, with sensible filenames and captions, relevant to the image and its significance. Wikipedia is not a good place for a dump of photos as one might do on Flicker.

In addition, even though you may have seen these plants in Kalimpong, that does not imply that the plants are native to Kalimpong, which most, if not all, are not. Please help the article by removing your recent photo additions before somebody else has to. Also, cluttering up Wikimedia Commons with your photos is not helping Wikipedia. Plant photos which don't identify a plant as to genus and species are useless for other Wikipedia editors. --Quisqualis (talk) 01:53, 29 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Morgan House, Kalimpong[edit]

The article Morgan House, Kalimpong you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Morgan House, Kalimpong for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of KJP1 -- KJP1 (talk) 20:21, 12 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi - First off, congratulations on getting the article accepted onto Wikipedia and for digging out some good facts and taking some great photos. But I'm afraid it is some way off being a Good Article. You might find it helpful to have a look at some Architecture Good Articles, which you can find here, Wikipedia:WikiProject Architecture, to give you some ideas. All the best with making this article GA in the future. KJP1 (talk) 20:30, 12 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect moving of Morgan House, Kalimpong[edit]

Gautama Buddha statue[edit]

Re your message, my understanding is that one really is not supposed to canvass other users for votes on main page nominations.

Best. Sca (talk) 13:48, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Sca - Sorry did not know. I am relatively new to the Featured picture section and saw another nominator do the same, so thought that this is an acceptable behavior. Actually I being an amateur photographer finding that the Quality image nominations and Featured image nominations is a very effective platform to not only contribute to Wikipedia but also to improve my overall body of work. Since you had already commented on my nominations. I wanted to know your feedback on the subsequent edits. This is in-spite of the fact that my nominated photo had already received the minimum number of support and consensus to qualify in FP prior to me reaching out to other reviewers. Good Day. - Subhrajyoti07 (talk) 14:14, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I strongly believe that article satisfies the minimum criteria of notability and should not be abruptly deleted. Instead, an improvement is needed. Please do take part in AfD. AchaksurvisayaUdvejin (talk) 18:46, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Sikkim[edit]

I'm sorry for my hastiness, but the principal reason why I reverted the edit is because of the glaring error at the top where the word "mountain" and now "cherry mountain" is written for no explainable reason. The words just sit there non-sensically. This is disruptive to the page, and I assumed that it was vandalism. I had not noticed that the edit was accompanied by a change in an image as well until after I reverted it, but because I was in a hurry, I really didn't wish to spend another second checking over it. My main concern was that the disruptive edit at the top had to be dealt with promptly. To be honest, I'm quite perplexed that, after undoing my edit, you repeated that mistake. Buddha Park of Ravangla

The Buddha Park of Ravangla is situated near Ravangla in South Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim. It was constructed between 2006 and 2013, and features a 130-foot-tall (40 m) statue of the Buddha, pictured here, as its main attraction. The statue was erected to mark the 2550th anniversary of the birth of Gautama Buddha, and was consecrated on 25 March 2013 by the 14th Dalai Lama.

Image changes[edit]

Hello! I am wondering why you change images in articles to your own without discussion with other editors? In several instances the original image was better because it was more descriptive for our general encyclopedia readership; or the added image created redundancy and was not an improvement. I know it must be nice to see your own images in WP, but the encyclopedia is not a showplace for one's own work. Please be more mindful moving forward and try using the article talk page first. Thank you! Netherzone (talk) 15:11, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Dear @Netherzone. Greetings to you as well friend.
As much I am proud of my photography skill, I never used WP as an online gallery to showcase my talent. I believe you are referring to my recent edit in article Nelumbo Nucifera, which you have reverted back.
if you care to check then you will find that both the images were taken by ME only. I honestly felt the second image was an even higher quality than the one I have replaced. It is an FP and I FELT showcased the bud stage of lotus better than my earlier photo. However when I saw your remark where you mentioned about redundancy and the earlier photo showed a more advanced stage of bloom, I agreed with your view too.
However I am surprised how you assumed that I am showboating and did not give me the benefit of “good faith”. Is there some moral high ground you assume to have which I am beneath of?
I think discussing in talk page is always a good idea and frankly I should be doing it more often than taking the leap basis my own judgement.
But for god’s sake, maybe pipe down a little -Subhrajyoti07 talk 18:13, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Dear @Netherzone. I have gone through your profile. You seem to have helped many a wikipedian. So I may have come down a bit harsh. Let’s say I noted your point and will use Talk pages more. Greetings -Subhrajyoti07 talk 18:36, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
