Gilarduzzi medalists[edit]

I looked at the information that you had put on the notability issues for both Umberto and Antonio Gilarduzzi. They won a medal in the two-man event at the 1937 FIBT World Championships. This has also been listed in the FIBT website in their official championships logs for bobsleigh.

I disagree with you on this. I put more information on Umberto for his role in the 1936 Winter Olympics. The information is found on several different website listed on bobsleigh if you Google either of their names. Chris 18:54, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's OK. At least you are paying attention on the recent changes and we need people like you who do that. Chris 19:04, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Template question[edit]

Use the following templates in the circumstances described:

  • {{db-bio}} for Non-notable biographies
  • {{db-corp}} for non-notable corporations
  • {{db-band}} for non-notable musicians or musical groups
  • {{db-web}} for non-notable websites
  • {{db-group}} for non-notable groups.

Or if you want a generic A7 template, use {{db-nn}}. I hope that helps! :-) —[[Animum | talk]] 01:18, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Template user dbz[edit]

Hi Stewy - I edited your template for DBZ to remove the copyrighted image. Please review WP:USERPAGE#Images_on_user_pages for more info. Thanks. --EarthPerson 03:47, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No harm, no foul. You're a busy editor. Cheers. --EarthPerson 03:51, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cherry top (slang)[edit]

I removed the db tag from Cherry top (slang), which you added. This isn't a nonsense page; it makes sense. You can prod it or take it to AfD if you still think it should be deleted. eaolson 03:51, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Scriabin[edit]

Several have noticed that a neutrality tag was added to the Scriabin page. Could you let us know why it was added? Please respond on the Scriabin talk page.THD3 18:42, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved the trivia to the talk page. Tim Vickers 01:41, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
I, Stormtracker94, award the RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar to Stewy5714 for great vandal fighting. STORMTRACKER 94 20:11, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I note you have added a cleanup tag to this article. I'm quite happy to do that, but I'm unclear what needs cleaning - could you let me know, if it's something you can't do yourself. Thanks for your help, Jimfbleak 20:29, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

I think I'd be able to help you a bit more if you provide the YouTube video in question, or perhaps the article which you hope to cite the video in. It is possible to cite a television episode without having to link to a YouTube video, I have done this before, and it is possible to cite books without providing a link to a copy of the book online. So, I think that the answer to your question is yes, it might be considered acceptable to use that interview on YouTube as a reference, but in terms of "reliable sources", it may be better to find a transcript of that interview, or just cite the interview episode directly using {{cite video}}. Speedy deletion of Template:User dbz[edit]

A tag has been placed on Template:User dbz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 19:57, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Assistance with a user script[edit]

Hi. I found your name on the WikiProject User scripts page and wondered if you could help me out a bit. I made a user script, User:Twinzor/Wikimark, and it works fine and all, except in Safari. In Safari, the tabs the script creates show up, but the "add" function does not work. I have zero knowledge of javascript, and the whole script was made by combining code from other scripts with some basic programming knowledge. I tried working on the problem, and I've narrowed it down a bit. If I comment out the line "var iframe = document.getElementById('WikiMarksLoader');" then the links the script is supposed to add do get added in Safari as well, but doing this also results in the iframe I'm using to not close. If you have the time, could you possibly give a quick look at it, and see if you could think of a work-around? I do understand if you're busy, and don't have the time/interest. Thanks! — Twinzor Say hi! 15:18, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
