Online Mentor[edit]

Hi there Stephaniesundheimer! I've just jumped in and become your online mentor, so hello! I'm not sure how everyone else is doing the mentoring, but I'd say it's a fairly individual matter anyway, so we should do it how we like. Therefore, I was wondering if you could tell me what you'd expect from a mentor? I'm happy to provide as much or as little support as you need, you are always welcome to ask me questions or for a third opinion (There's no such thing as a stupid question - if you are unsure, ask!) and I'll keep a regular eye on your contributions in case I pick up any areas where I think you could do with a little help.

Just as an addendum, I see you are very new to wikipedia, so I thought I'd give you a hand on sending me messages. You have a few options
  1. You can leave a message on this page. I will be watching it and will reply within 24 hours.
  2. You can click on my signature where it says Worm. This will take you directly to my talk page, where you can edit a section to leave me a message. Besides email, this will be the fastest way to contact me, as the bright orange bar I get (you might have noticed it, for this message) will alert me. (During UK office hours, it might even be faster than email!)
  3. You can start a new section on my talk page, either directly from my talk page or using this link
  4. You can email me using this link
So you can do whichever you find easiest for you. Also, I've added a template on your userpage, which has some quick links. (Hopefully I've got the right course!). If you ever need them, just click on your name at the top of the screen, and it will jump you there. WormTT 10:36, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edits[edit]

Hi Stephanie,

Been looking through some of your edits from today. Great job thus far. The high school and Michaels edits in particular were quite good, though to really take your work to the next level you should add a citation or two (but up to you). I don't see your edit on Facebook though. Your name doesn't appear in the page history. Have you not added this yet?

Anyhow, great job thus far. Feel free to respond to me here.

Referencing[edit]

Hi there. The references you've used in the article John Archambault unfortunately do not meet the guidelines under WP:RS, which is why I keep redirecting it. Are there any newspaper articles, books, or other quality, reliable, third-party sources you can use to establish notability? If not, the subject most likely is not notable under the Biographies of living persons guideline. - Burpelson AFB 15:21, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent Work[edit]

Stephanie, I've had a look at the work you've been doing ... again, you've made some really excellent contributions. The new page you created about that author, again, very well done. I would fight to make sure Wikipedia doesn't take it down. It looks like you've provided some credible sources. More are always better of course.

Excellent job again. Keep it up! Jaobar (talk) 01:21, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Stephanie, Can I just re-iterate what Professor Obar has said - that is a great first article, you should be proud. I've said as much at the deletion page - unfortunately any article can be nominated for deletion, it doesn't mean it will be deleted. WormTT · (talk) 16:57, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Docuxplorer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. - MrX 15:00, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
