Template:2008 Presidential Candidates[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for your contributions! The reason I have reverted your edit to Template:2008 Presidential Candidates is because it contains incorrect information. Mike Gravel is on the ballot in at least 20 states, not 15 as your edit claims: [1] (that website appears to not have been updated for the recent states like Texas and Ohio, but assumedly he's on the ballot in them as well). I hope this helps clear things up. -kotra (talk) 06:11, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've followed up on your response on my talk page. -kotra (talk) 23:49, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

See the other US presidential election articles. The top of the article is reserved for the winner & the runners up in the Election. GoodDay (talk) 22:16, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, is McKinney the presumptive Green nominee? I hadn't heard any new information on that. If you could link me to something or explain how apparent it is she's gonna be the nominee, I'd be glad to format the infobox with her nomination in there, but if not, I'll have to take it off until then. K, great, thanks. Fifty7 (talk) 03:07, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, the criteria for inclusion as "Minor Candidate" is established - either 100,000 minimum voter registration in the party with wide ballot access or at least 2% support nationally. Only Nader and the nominees for the Constitution, Green, and Libertarian parties qualify. See the talk page for more. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fifty7 (talkcontribs) 03:16, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not unless he is polling with 2% support in national polls. And he isn't. Fifty7 (talk) 03:19, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 03:19, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation of Secaucus[edit]

You are free to believe that the name of Secaucus, New Jersey should be pronounced with emphasis on the first syllable, but the reliable and verifiable sources provided in the article establish that the preferred pronunciation is on the first syllable. Describing the pronunciation in the article as described in the sources provided can hardly be "vandalism". Alansohn (talk) 17:39, 1 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
