Welcome to the world of user scripts

A user script can add items to the menus in a way that is valid for all skins by using the addPortletLink function. Quick intro here and in the guide and lots of detail here. — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 11:18, 16 September 2020 (UTC)

@GhostInTheMachine: Thanks for the feedback, I'll fix that soon! Sportzpikachu (talk) 00:56, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
@GhostInTheMachine: After looking into the function addPortletLink it seems that the function only adds links and there is not a addPortlet function to add another section. I'll look into each skin and try to support the classes for all the portlets, to add more skin compatability. Sportzpikachu (talk) 04:58, 17 September 2020 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for tidying up my edit to The Brack Report--217.155.32.221 (talk) 11:39, 20 September 2020 (UTC)

Removal of content in Atlante F.C.

Hello Sportzpikachu, I'm sorry because I didn't explained the edit, I wasn't vandalizing or blanking, but the reason is that the main team shut down the reserve teams that were playing in the Liga TDP. So there was no reason to leave the information about the reserve teams. My best regards. 189.171.146.92 (talk) 00:55, 21 September 2020 (UTC)

@189.171.146.92: I'd like to apologize to you for reverting your edit, and thank you for taking the time to contribute to Wikipedia. Also, I'd like to suggest to you that you create an account on Wikipedia so others will not see your IP address. I've put more details on your talk page. Sportzpikachu (talk) 01:02, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
Sportzpikachu, just to let you know, that this editor has been mass-editing soccer articles (under many different IPs) without leaving edit summaries or providing sources/references for the changes made, most appear to be removal of content from other hard-working editors. He's been warned by several editors, and occasionally apologizes (see User talk:144.29.129.35, exactly the same as your talk page) and then returns to blanking sections. This is not the way to collaborate on building an encyclopedia. It is reckless editing from this IP user. Cordially, History DMZ (talk)+(ping) 22:44, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
P.S. And @189.171.146.92: you need to add a brief paragraph (or at least a tiny note) in the articles where you removed that information, explaining why the reserve teams were shut down. You are confusing the readers with your section blanking/content removal because now they may be wondering what the status of the reserve teams is.
@History DMZ: Thanks for letting me know Sportzpikachu (talk) 11:36, 22 September 2020 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Pear Deck Logo.png

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Pear Deck Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:49, 28 September 2020 (UTC)

@B-bot: Thanks for the reminder, I forgot to add the logo in the Pear Deck infobox Sportzpikachu (talk) 23:58, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

A bot removed the logo, I will look into this Sportzpikachu (talk) 00:02, 5 October 2020 (UTC)

Rollback granted

Hi Sportzpikachu. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~Swarm~ {sting} 02:22, 19 November 2020 (UTC)

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 03:03, 24 November 2020 (UTC)

Trouted in retaliation!

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

You have also been trouted for: believing in my fake clock. 😉 Chlod (say hi!) 02:53, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

IDK what to say, it was pretty convincing ―sportzpikachu my talkcontribs 02:54, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

Book marks tool

Just a thought, but have you considered adding an option for access keys to this tool? VanIsaacWScont 21:48, 5 December 2020 (UTC)

@Vanisaac: Hmm, haven't thought about that. It seems that only a and o are available, although some users might want to overwrite them. I'll look into it later. ―sportzpikachu my talkcontribs 23:39, 5 December 2020 (UTC)

@Vanisaac: I don't think numbers work for access keys. ―sportzpikachu my talkcontribs 00:27, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
Dang. That would've been perfect. VanIsaacWScont 00:36, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
  • Update: I tried it using "accesskey": "1" in my bookmarks.json and it seems to work just fine. I'm using monobook, just in case it might be skin dependent. VanIsaacWScont 17:30, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
@Vanisaac: Hmm, it doesn't work for me... What browser are you using? Access key seems to be implemented differently across browsers ―sportzpikachu my talkcontribs 00:18, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
I was using Firefox (this is my phone, so N/A). I've also got the user script/gadget that labels keyboard shortcuts, and the 1&2 were recognized and labeled by that utility as well. VanIsaacWScont 00:28, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

You've been a great help and a chill dude. I'm lucky to be working with you on fun, BITE-y things like these. Hope you have an awesome day, and I hope that the next year treats you well! Hello Sportzpikachu:

Did you know ... that back in 1885, Wikipedia editors wrote Good Articles with axes, hammers and chisels?

Thank you for your contributions to this encyclopedia using 21st century technology. I hope you don't get any unnecessary blisters.
