DYK[edit]

Updated DYK query Did you know? has been updated. A fact from the article 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS Galizien (1st Ukrainian), which you recently created, has been featured in that section on the Main Page. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

Image copyright problem with Image:Mariemont.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Mariemont.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. BRossow 17:33, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright violation[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Ukrainian Raising Army, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a direct copy from http://members.tripod.com/~marcin_w/index-3.html. As a copyright violation, Ukrainian Raising Army appears to qualify for speedy deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Ukrainian Raising Army has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message. If the source is a credible one, please consider rewriting the content and citing the source.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GFDL, you can comment to that effect on Talk:Ukrainian Raising Army. If the article has already been deleted, but you have a proper release, you can reenter the content at Ukrainian Raising Army, after describing the release on the talk page. However, you may want to consider rewriting the content in your own words. Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia.

Civility[edit]

This is your last warning. If you continue to make personal attacks, you may be blocked for disruption.

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. .

Your vandalism and personal attacks on User:Molobo are absolutely unacceptable. The next time you will be blocked abakharev 06:22, 24 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You changed this article to the version of the vandalism. Please don't do this again without discussion.--Plk 14:27, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Sparspost. I'd like to expand on what Plk said above. There has been a rather intense edit war on the Poles article about what the definition of Pole should be. As a result the article is temporarily protected from IP editing and I have asked all participants to please discuss this issue on the article talk page before making further changes. An edit war does no-one any good and certainly does not improve the article. I am confident that a consensus can be reached on the wording of the opening paragraph. Could I ask you to take part in this process before reverting the article again?
I also need to remind you that under the three revert rule, continued edit warring can result in blocks for all parties involved and I am prepared to enforce that if necessary. Many thanks, Gwernol 20:07, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop reverting the Poles article. I will ask you again to please discuss this on the article's talk page. If you continue this edit war you will be blocked from editing. Thanks, Gwernol 18:35, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop reverting the Poles article

ps. and you too

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Darwinek 11:35, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit war at article Poles[edit]

You have participated in the recent edit war over the opening paragraph of the article Poles. The article has now been fully protected to prevent further edit warring. The only way to resolve this matter is for interested editors to discuss this matter. Please go to Talk:Poles#Continued_edit_war_over_opening_paragraph and express your opinion there. Please work with your fellow editors to reach a consensus wording that is properly cited and neutral. Thank you, Gwernol 12:10, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD notice for Wisłok Górny[edit]

I have nominated Wisłok Górny, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wisłok Górny. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Renaissancee (talk) 03:02, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Coat of arms of Nowotaniec has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There was no Nowotaniec COA. We already have an article on Gozdawa coat of arms; Lilium is one of its alt names.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
