How can I join an organization of wikipedia?

Welcome to Wikipedia. Just by contributing, you have become a member of the Wikipedia community. Depending on where you live, there are local "Chapters" which will be pleased to welcome new members. You can find a list at wmf:Local_chapters.
There are also WikiProjects, which are groups of users interested in particular subjects. There is a list of those at Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Directory.

signatures[edit]

When you write on a Talk page (or a Reference Desk), where you're using your "own voice" as it were (rather than the impersonal voice of the encyclopedia), it helps conversation if you sign by ending with four tildes, ~~~~; these are automatically converted to Yourname, date, time. (If you know HTML, you can customize your signature, in your Preferences pages.) —Tamfang (talk) 07:19, 18 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I know it. I know that already. :P @Tamfang
