Articles for creation - Review - Torlock[edit]

Hi there, you left a verdict on my article saying it sounded like an advertisement. I have changed it and used reliable sources to make the statements they made. I ask that you review it again however I would like you to consider that if you aren't knowledgeable on torrent sites that it might read like an advertisement seeing that words like unique is used. However please note that these words are used because the service is unique as no other torrent sites pay people to find fakes and secondly offer only verified stuff. I thank you for your time and hope to get a positive result from you.

Thank You

Thanks for the welcome note![edit]

Hi Prash. Many people have submitted articles since then which has caused the sudden increase in submissions. Your submission should still be in the line and will be reviewed within the week. Thanks, LegoKontribsTalkM 06:13, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcoming users[edit]

Hello and thanks for welcoming users! However, using subst:w-graphical will produce the current welcome message you are using. Using the subst template will be easier rather than copying the entire text. Cheers! SwisterTwister talk 20:21, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for September 19[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Joe Santarpia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Howard Davis (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jan Mączyński[edit]

Hi You declined to accept Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jan Mączyński, please reconsider your decision because the sources I cited are academic and can be verified. I am a serious editor with seven years experience here on Wikipedia.--Woogie10w (talk) 10:33, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Woogie, don't worry about it, just create the damn article - there's no need to ask anyone for permission.VolunteerMarek 18:28, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Susan I restored the version that had been edited by User:Volunteer Marek. It seems that there is a duplicate article Jan Mączyński that does not reflect his edits. It needs to be deleted and the most current version retained.--Woogie10w (talk) 20:14, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the screwup, I have been on Wikipedia for seven years and never created an article.--Woogie10w (talk) 20:16, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't mean anything by my comment above, except to get Woogie to click on the red link and create an article. AfC is for unregistered users, not folks who've been around for seven years. I'm sorry if you took that as a personal criticism - it wasn't meant to be such. People just got their wires crossed.VolunteerMarek 00:35, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Susan, please restore article. I see from your edit history that you do a lot of good and necessary grunt work on wiki. Regards--Woogie10w (talk) 02:57, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I do we get article retrived so VM can edit?--Woogie10w (talk) 11:19, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This is bizzare, Goolge an article to edit. We need to fix Wiki--Woogie10w (talk) 11:22, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Susan thank you for fixing problem--Woogie10w (talk) 11:33, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How do I get Blue box with contents to post in article?--Woogie10w (talk) 15:10, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for Creation is desperately short of reviewers! We are looking for urgent help, from experienced editors, in reviewing submissions in the pending submissions queue. Currently there are 2973 submissions waiting to be reviewed and many help requests at our Help Desk.

Do you have what it takes?
  1. Are you familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines?
  2. Do you know what Wikipedia is and is not?
  3. Do you have a working knowledge of the Manual of Style, particularly article naming conventions?
  4. Can you review submissions based on their individual merits?

If the answer to these questions is yes, then please read the reviewing instructions and donate a little of your time to helping tackle the backlog. You might wish to add {{AFC status}} or {{AfC Defcon}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions.

PS: we have a great AFC helper script at WP:AFCH!

not adequately resourced[edit]

I do not understand what it means "not adequately resourced". The information I have provided in the article can be seen and is taken from reading the website which I cite: www.disabilitycouncilinternational.org So you need to check that website and read to see if the content reflect the information on that website. How the sources is not sufficient I fail to understand:)

Please clarify, how you wanted me to cite the source:)

Many thanks

Beny Jan

I appreciate the warm welcome, Snowysusan. I'm just trying to learn the ropes so far, but I'm having fun already. Time for some more homework.

Me too, Snowysusan. I would just like to echo Aakrum's words since they all apply to me as well. --Loop Withers (talk) 02:36, 26 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Budd Albright submission[edit]

HI Snowysusan,

Trying to create my first article for a friend of mine, Budd Albright. He was a stuntman/actor in the 60s and 70s. Other than an imdb.com page and his personal webpage, I can't think of / find any other sources to cite. Any ideas for actors of this level? I appreciate your help!Fairchildallie (talk) 00:05, 27 September 2012 (UTC)fairchildallie[reply]

Thank you so much! Yes, feel free to add whatever you need, or adjust my citations (not sure I am doing that right). And no rush... i have a day job also, just doing this as a favor. Any/all help is much appreciated!!Fairchildallie (talk) 01:32, 27 September 2012 (UTC)fairchildallie[reply]

Hello,

Please reconsider my submission: 'Bangladesh Liberation War Guerrilla: Bashar'; there will be continuous modifications to this article with further details and citations. Thank you for your valuable time,

HI Snowysusan, Father's full name: Forrest Edward Albright

Mother's full name: Margaret Jeanne Rutter I hope that helps! Fairchildallie (talk) 15:24, 27 September 2012 (UTC)fairchildallie[reply]

Marvin Rees[edit]

Then you must make this article less biased.

Who says Marvin Rees is a "Prominent Bristolian?" This is a matter of opinion.

The Bristol Legacy Commission was controversial - it caused upset on more than one occasion and was ultimately scrapped.

Wikipedia is not the place for political stooges - it should be factual an non-partisan.
