Hi Snowysusan, I have added to more weblinks to my article on Bardou (Hérault), especially referencing to the article in the German wikipedia, of which my English article is a direct translation. Regards Lavoulte Lavoulte (talk) 11:31, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

Dear Snowysusan

Recently you reviewed Merab Kakulia article for creation. You declined this submission because it is not adequately supported by reliable sources. But information that I provided is just his bio and links to his works which are 100% reliable since user can download Kakulia'a works in pdf format from such important web-resources like USAID, EU project GEPLAC, Science etc. I've read Referencing for beginners and Citing sources but did not found the answer what you MEAN by reliable sources in this concrete article - a copy of his passport or what? Thank you Best regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Temur (talkcontribs) 10:02, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

Chinyere Asika

Thanks for reviewing my article contribution on Chinyere Asika. I don't understand what you mean by inline references. Four references are listed there and considering the age of the subject as well as where the subject is from, that is pretty good. Please advise. Coingroup (talk) 13:53, 7 August 2012 (UTC)

I am glad you reviewed this article. I love this submission, but didn't have the time to go through all the references after I cleaned it up.

You are having trouble moving it because a page does already exist, but it is a re-direct to Chagos Archipelago... Click this --> Chagos Marine Protected Area and you will notice it takes you to Chagos Archipelago. Under the title in small letters you see (Redirected from Chagos Marine Protected Area). If you click that link in the small letters, it will take you to the re-direct page.

Request the re-direct page to be deleted, then you can move the page. Cheers! Stella BATPHONEGROOVES 21:37, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi Snowysusan

Thank you for reviewing the article Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/DRONA Mobile.

This is in reference to your review comments. According to the Golden Rule, the topic should be covered significantly in reliable sources, independent to the subject. Well, DRONA has an article on it published in The Economic Times, a large daily national newspaper; has won many national and international awards (as included in references); showcased on national channel ET NOW; . These are reliable sources, independent to the subject, and include significant coverage. Is this not "notable"? All the reference articles talk about the company Deltecs and it's mobile learning product which is DRONA/DRONA Mobile.

Thank you for your guidance.

Historical Dictionary Project of the Hebrew Language

Thank you, Snowysusan, for reviewing my article for submission. I added a citation with respect to the editor in chief, and queried a member of the Hebrew Language Academy with respect to an online-verifiable source for the statement "The complete lexical archive will contain at least 25 million quotations." With respect to other statements you say lack sources, could you please be specific? In several cases, I have placed a footnote at the end of, say, Sentence C, where the footnote also refers to Sentence A and Sentence B immediately preceding it. How does one indicate such an occurrence?

Incidentally, I took some information for the English-language article from a similar Hebrew-language article in which there are only five footnotes, even though the articles are roughly the same length and contain a similar number of facts. When the English-language article is ultimately cleared for uploading, how does one insert an appropriate link in the left-side language bar? Paulpaltiel (talk) 18:16, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Found the 25-million cite! Paulpaltiel (talk) 22:13, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Hey Susan (Or Snowy-- whichever you prefer)! I noticed that you've been working on this AfC which I declined earlier this week. The editor, Ksindhya, who's been working on this article, has been working to improve it and asked me if it's acceptable to move to namespace. After a review of the changes and improvements that have been made, I think that it's good, but since you've made significant changes and commented, I thought I'd ask you for a brief second opinion.

One thing that Ksindhya mentioned that you two seemed to disagree on was whether or not to include a complete list of Professor Miettinen's publications (of which there seem to be 130, at least). From my opinion and experience, I don't think it's ideal to include all the publications. It is, however, a good idea to include a section titled "Selected publications" (or something similar) which directs to a few (usually less than 10?) particularly outstanding, notable, or otherwise exceptional works. I'll suggest this to Ksindhya, but I think that even without such a section, the article is good to go. I'd hate to keep him/her waiting, but I think your opinion is valuable. Thanks for taking an interest in this article, by the way, I'm glad to see it back at AfC. Icy // 21:23, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

Small question regarding my article

Dear Snowysusan, thanks for reviewing my article yesterday. I was wondering whether you could kindly give me more detailed feedback about its shortcomings as I am not quite sure I understand what exactly what you mean in your comment. You said that should use inline citations in order to reference my submission. I checked the link about inline citations that you have left and I have a feeling that I did actually follow the guidelines by using Ref tags to cite the books, articles and website that I have used. Is it maybe the citation style which is not correct? I would be grateful if you could let me know whether I made formal mistakes or whether the references as such as useless. Thanks a lot! Hi Snowysusan, Thanks for your review of my article. In line with your observation and suggested improvements, I've rewritten the article and resubmitted it. I took the advice of some editors (like Callenec) in culling out the advertising sections. But if you think there's still anything that needs to be removed/edited do let me know. Pending that, I've once again resubmitted the article. With any luck, this time I'll get to pass Go.

AFC Backlog

Articles for Creation urgently needs YOUR help!

Articles for Creation is desperately short of reviewers! We are looking for urgent help, from experienced editors, in reviewing submissions in the pending submissions queue. Currently there are 2964 submissions waiting to be reviewed and many help requests at our Help Desk.

Do you have what it takes?
  1. Are you familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines?
  2. Do you know what Wikipedia is and is not?
  3. Do you have a working knowledge of the Manual of Style, particularly article naming conventions?
  4. Are you autoconfirmed?
  5. Can you review submissions based on their individual merits?

If the answer to these questions is yes, then please read the reviewing instructions and donate a little of your time to helping tackle the backlog. You might wish to add {{AFC status}} or {{AfC Defcon}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions.

PS: we have a great AFC helper script at User:Timotheus Canens/afchelper4.js which helps in reviewing in just few edits easily!

We would greatly appreciate your help. Currently, only a small handful of users are reviewing articles. Any help, even if it's just 2 or 3 reviews, it would be extremely beneficial.

Article declined

Hello, You recently declined my article. I'm wondering how to get it approved. Brother Hawk is rather young to have other articles I can cite. The information is all valid, since it is all first hand information. (I'm in the band)

Disambiguation link notification for August 19

Hi. When you recently edited Robbie Brenner, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Haven (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
