January 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Music of Glee. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. February 2010[edit]

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Parachute (song), you will be blocked from editing. Please familiarise yourself with Wikipedia: Record charts before you remove things. Jayy008 (talk) 19:08, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

March 2010[edit]

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Rihanna discography. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 04:09, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Rihanna discography, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. - eo (talk) 16:58, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Say It's Over, you will be blocked from editing. Jayy008 (talk) 17:15, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've now removed the protection on this page, since I've confirmed that it charted at The UK Singles chart, and restored the most recent useful version. I'll suggest that it would be useful for you to update the article since it was, of course, created before the single was released. Best of luck with this; if you require assistance, feel free to leave me a note. Accounting4Taste:talk 17:09, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a source for the positions you added? Until you show it then the content has to be removed. - — Preceding unsigned comment added by Candyo32 (talkcontribs) 08:28, 7 April 2010

Please also see WP:CAPS. I've had to clean up several of your edits. The first word in a header, subheader or column header is capitalized, but then the rest is not, unless it contains a proper name. This includes things such as "Peak Chart Positions", which should be "Peak chart positions". Thanks. - eo (talk) 15:49, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:YMASUnderdog.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:YMASUnderdog.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ww2censor (talk) 03:34, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

April 2010[edit]

Please do not change song chart positions like you did with The Only Exception, the chart position you added is not correct and you did not add a reliable source, or any source, to verify the chart position. Crystal Clear x3 18:04, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Truth (Chiddy Bang song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

fails WP:NSONGS no info, no sources, pure WP:CRYSTAL

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Echoing the above comment: STOP changing formatting around. Please read some formatting and style guidelines, including WP:CAPS. There is no reason for you to constantly switch around font sizes, etc. This most recent change made text so small it was unreadable.

FInal warning[edit]

You've been asked repeatedly to stop changing formatting around and to read some of Wikipedia style guidelines as well as adding "TBA" info, yet you made these type of edits again here [1], here[2] and here [3]. Consider this your final warning — it is not fair that other editors are constantly having to clean up after you.

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Pixie Lott discography, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - eo (talk) 17:33, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

More style guideline errors, many unsourced images uploaded[edit]

This is your only warning regarding these issues. You've already been blocked; if you are not going to take the time to learn proper guidelines regarding headers, capitalization, style and uploading of images, you will be blocked again. Your contributed article, Echos (Klaxons song)[edit]

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Echos (Klaxons song). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Echoes (Klaxons song). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Echoes (Klaxons song) - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. The Blade of the Northern Lights (talk) 19:30, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In the future, you can simply move the page to the correct title, so you don't have to recreate the exact same article under a different title, and then have the original one deleted. The Blade of the Northern Lights (talk) 19:30, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No big deal- I've actually never had to tag an article as A10, and that's a bit different than most speedy deletion tags, so I learned something new from this. Keep up the good work!! The Blade of the Northern Lights (talk) 19:35, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Block, enough is enough[edit]

You seem to want to just ignore style guidelines, warnings and attempts at communication. These edits [4] show that once again, you are going to add unsourced information and change formatting (such as WP:CAPS) in order to suit your own personal taste. It is not fair that other editors have to constantly clean up after you. - eo (talk) 22:03, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing, for a period of 2 weeks, for disruption. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal the block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Your request: In My System[edit]

I will undo this deletion (In My System), as it was done because of repeated recreation by a blocked/banned user. That said, I would like to point out things in your recent edits that have continuously caused disruption and required cleanup by other editors. After more than one block, you continue to ignore requests made on your Talk Page and consult style and formatting guidelines. Note that I will have no problem warning and/or blocking again if you choose to disregard guidelines and warnings as you create new articles.

  • [5] Here, again, you filled an article with speculation and TBAs. A chart table is pure WP:CRYSTAL, even if its charting seems very likely. Your headers go against WP:CAPS. There are also no references.
  • [6] I had to move this article (as I've done to many that you have created) for incorrect formatting of the title, as well as incorrect formatting thru the entire thing.

These are just two new articles out of many edits you've already made today. I haven't looked thru others yet. So I'm requesting again: Adhere to style guidelines, do not add TBAs or TBDs or speculative statements and provide references. Stop creating clean-up work for other editors and do not ignore attempts at communication that others leave on your Talk Page. - eo (talk) 12:13, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Count & Sinden After Dark.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Count & Sinden After Dark.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 13:06, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is it: Final warning[edit]

You obviously do not care to acknowledge talk page communication and/or you just don't care in general, but this is the final warning. Here [7] another article you created needed cleanup due to formatting errors, style guidelines have been posted here on this page multiple times, and here [8] you removed a citation tag without providing any sources to warrant its removal, on an article you created with the same formatting errors. In reference to the above message, you are also still uploading unsourced images. Your edits are clearly disruptive now. If you continue editing this way, you will be blocked again without additional warnings. - eo (talk) 13:26, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re-read your talk page. You've been asked for months to please learn the correct formatting for articles, headers, article names, etc. Yes, you're right: it is silly because here it is months later and you're still doing it. It's a very simple thing, and when others have to constantly clean up your edits, it becomes disruptive. The same goes for repeated uploading of unsourced images. Look at how many bot-generated warnings you have here. After months of editing, you should be learning how to properly do this, and if you still haven't bothered to read any policies regarding images, this implies that you do not care. - eo (talk) 15:10, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with White Blank Page. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - eo (talk) 18:27, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You've had more than enough warnings[edit]

You're still modifying formatting in articles (particularly discographies), including changing things that go against consensus at WP:DISCOG. You have been warned way too many times, you either a) don't care or b) lack the basic level of competence to edit and understand warnings.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month for disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

Appeal to Unblock[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

The edits to Florence and the Machine discography and Taio Cruz discography were both useful in that I was merely adjusting the width of columns to ensure all information fit on a single line each, which ultimately leads to faster accessing of information on Wikipedia. I understand that the block has been coming, I'll admit that some of the edits have been disruptive and without mentioning why I chose to edit the page, it was wrong of me. I am making this appeal so that I can either be unblocked or so that I can at least recieve a message explaining what it was about my two recent edits to the stated above that were deemed so disruptive, to me they seemed to improve the page, or preferably both. Many thanks for listening to my appeal, I will accept if it is declined and hope that any future edits I perform after my block are not considered disruptive. SLlewellyn7

Decline reason:

I see months of warnings and complaints about your editing habits, and I see not a single article talk page edit from you, nor so much as a single response on your own user talk page to any of the issues raised, other than to delete the warnings. You can still engage in dialogue regarding your past and future behavior on this talk page, but until you show some understanding of Wikipedia policies, you're not likely to be unblocked early. --jpgordon::==( o ) 18:59, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  1. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Nicki Minaj discography, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Please stop creating new articles solely for the purpose of making them redirects. There is no reason for you to create pages for various album tracks of your favorite artists only to make them redirect to album or artist pages. The same goes for navigation boxes. You've created quite a few for artists who clearly do not need them (e.g. zero-or-one album release and one-or-two singles). - eo (talk) 18:00, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You continue to edit without any regard to the requests made on your Talk Page. Please stop creating unnecessary articles that serve no purpose but to be redirects and navigational templates for artists who do not need one. I've deleted yet another redirect created by you again, and a template you created is up for deletion. If you're going to continue to do whatever you want without any communication with editors trying to talk to you, it will lead to another block. This kind of behavior has gotten you blocked in the past.
This is your last warning; the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - eo (talk) 14:53, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Vaccines requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. I42 (talk) 21:24, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced edits[edit]

What exactly is your problem? You've been blocked several times, and your next block could be for two months or more.
Please do not add unsourced content, as you did to Happiness (Alexis Jordan song). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Cresix (talk) 23:02, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Take it to the talk page, this is your last warning.— dαlus+ Contribs 22:32, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

December 2010[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for repeatedly adding and changing facts without regard for policies such as WP:V in spite of dozens of messages on your talk page and several previous blocks. To resume editing, all you have to do is convince an admin that you're willing to comply with Wikipedia policies. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. {{unblock on hold|1=HJ Mitchell|2=Having been with Wikipedia for a while now, I've found that I have learnt the rules and the blocking of my account has served as a reminder for why I should source all edits I may to pages. If unblocked, I promise to learn from the mistake and ensure all edits are sourced and reasons are provided.|3=On the contrary, I don't feel that you've learned anything, other than to come up with excuses to be unblocked. This is not simply about providing sources; this is about months and months of editors leaving messages on your Talk Page pertaining to your overall editing habits. Each one of them is completely ignored and you continued to do whatever you wanted to do, regardless of how disruptive it was or how many people asked you to stop. As someone who has left many warnings here, as well as issuing past blocks, I am asking the blocking admin (as well as any other admin) to review this also. However, I am recommending that your unblock request be declined. At some point, enough is enough. I, for one, am not convinced. - eo (talk) 21:12, 15 December 2010 (UTC)}}[reply]

Non-admin Comment: I'd like to ask if you actually know why you aren't allowed to add unsourced content. Your unblock request's reason seems to say that you understand it's against the rules, but in my opinion if you don't understand the reason behind the basic rules on Wikipedia you can't fully understand the rules themselves. The verifiability rule is a very important one here, and since you have a large amount of final warnings, and a larger amount of other warnings for unsourced edits and a couple other policies, I believe you should understand the reasoning behind the rules if you're to be unblocked, although at the moment I don't believe you have learned anything, so I'm siding with Ericorbit here. Final judgment is up to HJ Mitchell though. dmz 22:50, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid that, so far, I'm inclined to agree with the two opinions above. Your unblock request doesn't make me think you understand why you were blocked. Do you understand what sourcing and verifiability mean and why they're so important? Do you understand what the purpose of this talk page is and, if so, why haven't you responded to any of the messages left for you about this until you're indefinitely blocked? HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:35, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I understand where all three of you are coming from an accept that my disregard for the rules of Wikipedia have been noticed, but I find that I am often penalised for nothing more than a beneficial edit, such as the one made for the song Surfin' Bird, in which my information (all sourced) was deleted also minutes after me changing it; despite the fact it was relevant and improved the quality of the page. Having read my previous warnings, I honestly can say that I understand why sourcing on Wikipedia is so important and feel that given one last chance I promise to obey by these rules. In regards to having not replied to prior warnings, I have to say that I found it difficult to find out how to reply to other users and only recently have found out how to do this properly.

Decline reason:

I find this request and your other actions reflect either a complete disregard for the truth or a lack of competence sufficient to justify maintaining the block. Beeblebrox (talk) 21:37, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Non-admin comments and questions: Sllewellyn, are you saying that these edits on Surfin' Bird were fully sourced? And I want to make sure I understand some of your comments. Are you saying that you knew how to edit articles but did not know how to put a message on an editor's talk page? Are you saying that you did not know how to respond to an editor on your own talk page? Are you saying that you did not know how to discuss any concerns on an article's talk page? Cresix (talk) 21:12, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The single edit I made to that page was referenced, it was numbered '3' and the source proved that the single charted at number 50 in the UK during 2009; which was for no reason I can think of removed from the article. SLlewellyn7 (talk) 21:17, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is this edit sourced: "Following the original airing of the Family Guy episode "I Dream of Jesus", "Surfin' Bird" debuted on the UK Singles Chart at number 50 on 2 May 2009. On its second week in the chart, the single fell 29 places to number 79; before departing from the Top 100." Also, I would appreciate an answer to the other questions I asked. Thanks. Orphaned non-free image File:Selfmachine.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Selfmachine.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Proposed deletion of To Kingdom Come (song)[edit]

The article To Kingdom Come (song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No claim of notability, fails WP:NSONG and WP:GNG. A deadlink to Amazon is not a reference.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
