August 2012[edit]

Hello, I'm Nthep. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Spencer Pratt without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. The removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, NtheP (talk) 20:52, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Heidi Montag with this edit, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Heidi Montag with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. MacAddct1984 (talk • contribs) 20:55, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 20:58, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: Please see Wikipedia's Article Subject's FAQ. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 21:12, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Spencer Pratt, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. MacAddct1984 (talk • contribs) 21:29, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring, as you did at Spencer Pratt. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. tedder (talk) 01:17, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In the off chance this is really the subject of a wikipedia article, please read what to do about that. Generally, you'll want to discuss large edits on talk pages (such as Talk:Spencer Pratt and Talk:Heidi Montag). tedder (talk) 01:19, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Additionally, there are slim chances that newspapers such as New York Daily News and Us Weekly would be inaccurate. Whether you are Spencer Pratt or not, I believe you should provide reasonable sources to prove otherwise. As mentioned, please mention your concerns at the article's talk page rather than removing the content. SwisterTwister talk 04:02, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
