Moving Page[edit]

Hey, I just moved the page for you. I was about to make the comment on the AFD page, but I saw that you were online. This move shouldn't cause any problems. Please let me know if you have any. Umeboshi 02:03, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

hi, where does it move to? Thanks

--Tom 02:05, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Right here - Information Sharing Customer Outreach. This link should still work too Information Sharing Customer Outreach (ISCO). I just added a link here also ISCO, and removed the redirect from there as there are now two ISCO's on wikipedia. Umeboshi 02:14, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that somebody else decided to move the page, at close to the same time as I did. So now we have approximately three pages. One real one and two redirects. I will leave it up to you to decide which of these two names are more appropriate for the article title. Information Sharing Customer Outreach or Information Sharing and Customer Outreach. I have no problems with either one. The way I figure you are probably in the best position to determine which one it should be. This double page moving was so close together in timing, I was getting confused as to what was going on. :) Umeboshi 02:25, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK everything seems to have refreshed itself now. There must have been several people trying to do similar things at the same time. Generally it is just called ISCO because the govt loves acronyms but it is a toss up as to whether there is an "and" in the middle of the name. Thanks for moving the page! --Tom 02:29, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bass[edit]

Please see the talk page on Pinky Bass. How could you even think about nominating this article for deletion. Artsojourner 11:40, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I revampd the article to re add some of the items that were on the original before certain editors decided it was easier to delete whoe areas rather than fix them. In photography there are too many editors that I feel have grudges or or just lazy but I assure you Bass is top notch I have known her and her work for many years and she deserves this article. License tagging for Image:James Clapper.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:James Clapper.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:07, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:Meyerrose.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Meyerrose.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:08, 8 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BigDT 02:08, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree Image:James_Clapper.jpg[edit]

An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:James_Clapper.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. Please go to its page for more information if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Fritz S. (Talk) 18:54, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fritz - The photo of retired General Clapper is an official U.S. Government Public Affairs Office photo of General Clapper. He spent approximately 40 years in public service and like all official U.S. Government photos, he is standing in front of the U.S. flag as well as the emblem for the National Geo-Spatial Intelligence Agency (NGA). He was the director of the agency when the photo was submitted by the PAO office. --Tom 02:44, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

re:GSD[edit]

Thank you very much for bringing those edits to my attention. They are POV and completely unacceptable. VanTucky Talk 01:51, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
