2CV Fan[edit]

I'm a 2CV fan and did a lot of work adding images to the English 2CV page. I placed these at the bottom of other language 2CV pages so that they could be incorporated (if they wanted to), and stimulate the development of the pages about this under rated and exceptional car. Your bot seems to have deleted them as vandalism. Could you undo this please. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.119.112.23 (talk) 12:27, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This must be some kind of misunderstanding, as SilvonenBot is not an anti-vandalism bot. On the Finnish Wikipedia, another editor seems to have reverted your edit as “strange international image spam,” but this revert was not made by SilvonenBot. --Silvonen (talk) 13:02, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gymnocarpium dryopteris[edit]

Can you check this edit, please?[1] Walter Siegmund (talk) 17:42, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the feedback! The previous edit by Thegoodlocust corrupted the Swedish interwiki link, and SilvonenBot put it back (and moved the unrecognized text away from the interwiki link section, which is the expected behaviour for an interwiki bot). I fixed the article. --Silvonen (talk) 17:55, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry. I see that I lumped your bot's edit with that of Thegoodlocust (talk · contribs). a climate change skeptic, that appears to not know very much about the topic. Thegoodlocust edit to Gymnocarpium_dryopteris is accurate enough, if not particularly helpful or careful. I'm pleased that it was not entirely without interest. Bot error[edit]

See Help_talk:Interlanguage_links#Interlanguage_bots_do_not_recognize_deliberate_human_removal_of_errors. Thanks! Wareh (talk) 13:28, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for letting me know; I see that you already added the {{nobots}} template. I’ll see if I can improve the linking with my bot, but it may be problematic. For example, fi:Merope actually describes several different Meropes, although it hasn’t been labelled as a disambiguation page. --Silvonen (talk) 03:47, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
