Chiropractic mediation

It looks like this is quite a problem, I have created a mediation cabal request to help us move on with the issue on the article: Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2010-08-23/Chiropractic. Please consider participating once the case has been accepted by a mediator. --Anon 08:19, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

Art student scam

Hello, as RomaC requested I have moved the "spy" sandbox to a new title Allegations of Israeli espionage operation 2000-2001, and replaced the standing Art student scam article with the new sandbox version. These were done per consensus reached on the talk page. You will also notice I have added the new article about the spying allegations to several wikiprojects as well as included a notice regarding I/P General Sanctions. Hopefully, this can help defend the article objectively from some of the POV pushing and battleground mentality. Kindzmarauli (talk) 05:45, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

SPP article

Thanks for your support and comments about the School of Practical Philosophy. I'm not quite sure how to cite its federal tax ID and organizational status, but I have the documentation. Christieag (talk) 13:50, 1 August 2010 (UTC)

Would you be able to upload the information somewhere so that it is accessible online, if it's not online somewhere already, so that it can serve as a reference? If so, then you can have it written just like the first line of the School of Economic Science, where it states that it is a "registered" charity. You would make a line similar to that for the SPP article and then have the reference attached at the end of the sentence. Easy as pie. :) SilverserenC 18:36, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks! I'll have it uploaded and referenced within a week. Christieag (talk) 17:42, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
I put the reference in on the School of Economic Science article. I didn't realize the NYT article reference had been removed.. what would you suggest as the next step for re-establishing the article? Thanks! Christieag (talk) 19:25, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
First off, adding the NYT article back in as a reference would be helpful. Then, you'll have to go and see what other reliable sources you can find on the School. It needs to have enough reliable sources that cover it in a non-trivial way for us to be able to get consensus to move it back to its own article. Right now, it doesn't have that, as lmost all of the sources for it are to primary sources and not coverage from secondary sources. SilverserenC 19:31, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Do you think it's good enough to stand on its own now? I noticed no one else has weighed in for over a week. Christieag (talk) 14:06, 29 August 2010 (UTC)

Thank you again! I will get in and edit the SES page. Best of luck with that Yukon Wolf. I thought it was a user at first glance. Christieag (talk) 19:38, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Doktordoris (talk) 21:22, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

I have apologised all over the place.

I really meant no offence.

I just thought the info I added was valuable for the sort of reader who only looks at the opening paragraph.

And as I said I use the word pervert for behaviour which the majority find unusual, I meant nothing pejorative.

Woodlawn Preserve

Thank you for dividing into section this article, however your recent addition regarding the Common Council's vote and allowing for development is not only outdated but incorrect, it was never done. Now I'm sure I have to go back to the Times Union's archives and find the relevant articles explaining this since I'm sure you'll need proof. I have gone through both all of the TU and Gazette's archives, please trust me that it was not developed.Camelbinky (talk) 00:01, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Ah, okay, well the wording can be easily changed to explain it as a plan and then state that it was never actually enacted. I'm still looking for other sources that can be used. SilverserenC 00:03, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
I believe that it has now surpassed the 1500 count. Thank you for your help.Camelbinky (talk) 00:50, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
No problem. I just noticed the notification about it on your talk page and felt that I could help improve it. I'm glad I was able to do so. SilverserenC 00:51, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
Alot of times I ignore tidbits that dont seem interesting to me and dont put them in articles, I'm glad to have had a second pair of eyes (and now it seems a third pair too) to find things that ignored. Feel free to look at Hamilton Hill, Schenectady, New York, I just started it and its very preliminary but could use another pair of eyes.Camelbinky (talk) 01:23, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Do you think this addition is relevant, I think perhaps BLP issue...

This newspaper article talks about former Mayor Jurczynski moving out of Hamilton Hill shorty after he first got elected as mayor. I was wondering if that was appropriate information for the article or if it could be just needless negativity on an individual.Camelbinky (talk) 17:21, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

I think it could be used as an example of the problems in Hamilton Hill, either in terms of safety of the area or housing issues. It all depends on how you word it, really, it's only "needless negativity" if its written in a negative way. We could just use it as an example and put no weight on it being a bad thing. SilverserenC 18:46, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
Sounds good.Camelbinky (talk) 18:55, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Help with new article?

If you have some free time, I would appreciate it if you could glance at a new article Criticism of the Talmud and let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement ... especially to ensure that it is neutral and balanced. And, of course, you are free to edit the article yourself. Thanks. --Noleander (talk) 00:45, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

I...I...just...wow. I am so slack-jawed now, you have no idea. That needs to go for DYK immediately and then you need to head straight for a GA status review after the DYK gets through on the front page. After that...well, I think this could definitely get to FA status if you fill out a few sections here and there (which the GA review should hopefully help with). Maybe once it's at GA, you should do a peer review to iron out any kinks before heading for FA. SilverserenC 01:16, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the kind words. If, later, you notice anything specific that could be improved, please let me know. --Noleander (talk) 01:26, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Kaavalan

Hi, the amount stated for the film's production is unbelievably "silly". The film is done on a modest budget - and for a Tamil film - most big budget films don't go above 15 crores. Fans of the lead actor, to promote their favourite actor, indulge in such lowly activities ~(i.e. editing budgets to higher amounts) to make the project seem big. Furthermore the link which it leads to is unreliable, and doesn't mention the amount. Universal Hero (talk) 16:56, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

The actress who committed suicide is the Tamil-Malayalam actress "Mayoori", whose notable movies are "Akasha Ganga , Summer In Bethlehem (Malayalam) and Manmadhan and Kana Kandein (Tamil). [2]

Please see the photos of both and understand that they are two separate individuals.

Anishviswa (talk) 17:28, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Trying to divine, even if it is obvious, from photos that they are two different people would be considered to be original research. What you need to do to prove that they are separate people is to find a reliable source that talks about something Mayuri Kango has done since 2005. Because, suspiciously, I can't seem to find any coverage about her since 2005, which seems to tie in with the whole Mayoori suicide thing. If you can prove, with a reliable source, that Mayuri Kango is alive and has done something since 2005, you'd be good. SilverserenC 17:32, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

My main concern was keeping the original user from blanking the article again. But I've now taken off the page protection and switched it to "revisions require review" instead — so that if he tries that it can be rejected, but worthwhile edits, such as referencing improvements, can still go through. If that still poses a problem, then let me know and I'll figure something else out. Bearcat (talk) 22:29, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Saffron terror

Hey. If you have time to help me sort stuff out I have some academic papers which need sifting; I have time to talk but not time to do it all alone. Here are my notes about online sources. If you have not already seen the deleted article then check it out. The discussion about the deleted article is here. What is your interest in this?

I would have emailed you about working together but you seem to not have enabled the option. My email is enabled, if you want to talk or share files. Blue Rasberry 02:41, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

I would be happy to help you out with the research. What do you mean by "sifting", exactly?
And I would rather keep my personal email away from Wikipedia drama. That's why my email isn't activated. SilverserenC 02:53, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
I think I have something like 20-30 journal articles each about 10 pages long. I pulled them because they seem to be about acts of terror committed related to the promotion or protection of Hindu religious values, but when I came to believe that I would find no source anywhere specifically about the history of Hindu terrorism, I lost some interest in the topic because I did not want to review specific cases. Would you want to see what I have? Why are you interested in the article?
Email goes one way. If you give it to Wikipedia, then I can email you, but I do not get your address. Blue Rasberry 04:32, 24 September 2010 (UTC)

I don't believe the nominator is able to close a deletion discussion that has an outstanding Delete vote. SilverserenC 02:27, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
If the original nominator withdraws, then anyone can close the AFD at will, I used to do it when I was an adminstrator, closing nominator withdrawn AFDs after sigificant changes of the article occurs, and that's the case here. Secret account 02:38, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
Anyways have you ever considered being an adminstrator you highly qualify with all your article rescues. Secret account 02:55, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
I don't think article rescues would mean much to those who vote in RfA's. SilverserenC 03:04, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
Article work means alot to people who vote in RFA, it shows that you have a clear understanding in policy, especially rescuing articles from certain deletion, I nominated about 30 editors for RFA before, only two failed that I remembered one early on, in October 2005 and one last year. So I have a great track record. Give it a shot. Secret account 03:09, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
Well, regardless, I think you should look at my userbox that is 9th down and also take a look at this. SilverserenC 03:15, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
I didn't see your userpage, I went directly to your talk, you should really change your mind, the tools can be helpful even if you don't use it much, for looking at deleted versions of articles, block an occational vandal, etc. Ponder it for a few days, we are at a lack of high-quality candidates right now, look at the WP:RFA page, it's empty. You could show them wrong, some adminstrators are caring people. Secret account 03:19, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
And I perfectly know which adminstrator you talking about, I was against him as well and I tried recalling him before, but instead he removed the recall category. If that's the adminstrator your talking about, he shouldn't have never been a adminstrator in the first place, he had the WP:IRC cabal supporting him, and I strongly opposed his first RFA, I regret supporting the last one because of a promise he didn't commit. Secret account 03:33, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
I had the name in there originally, but a user pointed out that it was defamatory, so I removed it. but you can still see it if you look in the history. And I believe we're talking about the same person. S/he has been featured a lot at ANI lately. SilverserenC 03:38, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
Yep that's the one, not all adminstrators are like him though, just ponder though it for a few days, your an instant pass for me anyways. Secret account 03:42, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
I'll consider it. Thanks for the support. SilverserenC 03:46, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
Let me know though email, as I retired because of RFA drama associated with me, and with school being affected. I'll come back to do your nomination. Thanks Secret account 02:44, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
I'm sorry that you had to deal with those horrible comments in your RFA. It's kinda what i'm worried about if I end up doing it. I've heard so many horror stories about things that have happened in RFA's. SilverserenC 02:48, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
Yea but it mostly happens when the editor is controversal, I was involved in controversy with my desysopping by ArbCom last December, before that I was fairly controversal, and it didn't help that I was involved in an edit war a few weeks back while defending the status of an FA. That's not the case with you. I'll likely be back, I just need some time off and reflect. Secret account 02:59, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
The thing i'm worried about is that there are a number of editors who dislike me personally because of my stance on issues and because I do things differently from them (and because i'm an inclusionist). I can name ten off the top of my head. They might be ones to create controversy if I end up doing an RFA. SilverserenC 03:09, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
DGG is an inclusionist, and he passed his RFA easily, I don't see why you shouldn't give it a shot. Secret account 03:18, 23 September 2010 (UTC)

I'm not the one that did the nomination. In hindsight, which is 20/20 and all that, I should have refused it and then had it done this weekend, but...too late now. I'll do my best nonetheless. SilverserenC 18:49, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
Yea your RFA is sinking, some of the concerns are because your an inclusionist and should be discounted by an bcrat, but others are valid concerns. I'll try my best to support you, and if you fail, try again in six months and be a little more careful about sourcing. Secret account 19:18, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
  • You can certainly expect my support in 3-4 months if you do a bit better on the sourcing and perhaps clean up your essays. I think they are fine in content, but could be a bit less rambling so folks understand what you're actually saying. I'm tempted to move from neutral to support right now just because I think a lot of the opposes are so poor, but I do see enough issues that lead me to think more time would be useful. Best of luck! There is no doubt in my mind you are a great editor and a huge plus for the encyclopedia, so don't take this whole thing poorly. Hobit (talk) 01:51, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
It's not a big deal to me. I'll just make sure to do better in the future. Though, can you look at the reply I gave to AniMate, where I listed some more recent sourcing endeavors? Are those more of the level that you're looking for? I just recently switched to doing more complete descriptions (which I really should have been doing from the beginning), so I know that I need to be doing it for a bit longer before I can really use it as an example of me being better at sourcing. But I just want to know if that is the level and style that you (and the others) are looking for, so I can continue to do things like that. SilverserenC 01:55, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
I didn't look in great detail, but yes, those look great. I've seen you around at AfD and fixing articles and think you're doing a great job there. Just some of your other (and mostly older) stuff had some issues. Like I said, in 3 or 4 months if things stay where they have recently, you'll have my strong support. Hobit (talk) 14:01, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
I will do my best. :) SilverserenC 15:38, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

I've also left an explanation about my closure on the talk page of the RFA page. In the meanwhile, I encourage you to read over the supports and opposes and learn areas to improve. Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask me or any of our experienced fellow colleagues. Cheers, bibliomaniac15 05:46, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Sorry about your RfA. I think the vast majority of the opposition was because you save articles from deletion, which I think is not only unfair, it is unjust. You are an excellent Wikipedian and a very valuable asset to this project as many people have pointed out. Your work and personal interactions here are very highly regarded and you are a personal inspiration to me and I'm certain to many others also. If you decide to run in the future, you will have my support, as you are one of a handful of people here that I highly respect. All the best. -      Hydroxonium (talk) 14:19, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
I too, want to stop by and offer my best wishes and my hopes that you'll learn from the experience and try again. Whatever you do, please don't be discouraged. I think you are a very good and capable person, and I wish you the very best, not only on this little website, but in real life. --Tryptofish (talk) 16:29, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Suzuki vs Consumers Union

You made a comment re a RSN request on this topic here. The question has arisen, which website did you mean when you said, "But the website is definitely not reliable" -- the Law firm site or the My Space site that hosts the video? Could you please respond at the article talk page [1]? Thanks in advance, Pete Tillman (talk) 19:20, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Marketing

You recently made a posting on my page about marketing and promotional material- While you have been helpful in some areas, you have also stripped down and broken up an entry so people have to go to two or more different places to find what they are looking for. Wikipedia is based on input from all over and certainly you are entitled to your opinion and I have mine. Nothing I posted was not confirm-able or without a external link - until some zealot deleted the external links and then guess what - it's now classified as promotional!! If you are going to edit pages and wipe out data, please do the due diligence first and include it all, or let someone else do it. As I read it, editing out the copyvio isn't enough once it's got a copyvio template - the template says "Do not edit this page until an administrator or an OTRS agent has resolved this issue.", so I've reverted your edit. PamD (talk) 08:08, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

That's...really annoying. Well, i'll go talk to User:Moonriddengirl and see what I can do about getting it fixed. SilverserenC 16:32, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

good job

Your efforts are commendable and don't go unnoticed. I like what I see. Keep up the excellent work.

How's it going?

Just checking in to see how things are going. That whole "us vs. them" thing at the RfA seemed a bit rough to me. I took the whole thing very personally — and was quite upset at "them" at the time and wanted to check in with you. Please remove this message if I'm overstepping my bounds or what-have-you. Kind regards. -      Hydroxonium (talk) 04:30, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

I'm fine, as far as I can tell. ._. I really don't get the people who freak out when they fail at RfA. It was really not that big of a deal and I expected that outcome anyways. I've just been doing some other stuff on WP and focusing on college and things. Thanks for asking though. :) SilverserenC 04:36, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
And that is why I have so much admiration for you. You are a far better person than I am. I always take things way too personally but I am learning from you. Best of luck with college. I'm sure you'll do great. Thanks for being an exceptional role model for me. -      Hydroxonium (talk) 04:43, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

Hello Silver, Thank you for improving this article about a notable company. I commented in the AfD but you did more than comment. You dug up the sources and improved the article. Well done. By the way, I noticed you did not make admin. Hang in there, keep working, and look to the future. Wikipedia IS a worthwhile project. Cullen328 (talk) 06:29, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

Cheers

Thank you for the barnstar. I hope this doesn't mean I ought to go award 146 of them for all the times my userpage has been hit...--Kubigula (talk) 02:41, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

It just happens so rarely with me (three years as I mentioned in the barnstar to the other user), that I felt it was worth a barnstar to the users who helped me, considering the rarity of its occurence. If it starts happening more regularly, i'll stop of course. Not that I want that to happen. :P SilverserenC 02:44, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
Hopefully it will be three more years then. I'll never understand why they waste the energy on something so easily reverted- only one time[2] in 146 has it even made an impression on me, and only then because that one made me laugh.--Kubigula (talk) 04:16, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
Mmm, I actually wouldn't mind that being put on my userpage. I wouldn't consider that vandalism at all. :D SilverserenC 04:21, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
can we link to lyrics? Can we describe lyrics at all? -DePiep (talk) 01:18, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Only if the lyrics are explicitely outlined in a reliable source, such as a book. If you can find a reliable source that has the lyrics in it, then you can go ahead and add in the lyrics, with the source attached as a reference. There are a few sources that I noticed that have the first few lines, but not the whole thing. If you can find one that does have the whole thing, that would be great. SilverserenC 01:22, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
OK, thank you for clarifying. No I don't have the right book to use as a source. She really songs about ... For now, I'll sing along with a Youtube. Done. -DePiep (talk) 01:27, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
And must say, you made it into a tough article fastly. Good & great. -DePiep (talk) 01:44, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Good? more like amazing. dang, you convinced me that the articles are worth keeping. Thanks.--TalkToMecintelati 01:09, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

I'm glad I was able to do that. :) I guess that's what happens when you have an outbreak of typhoid that causes a panic and a huge tire fire. :P I still haven't confirmed that it is a ghost town though, i'm kinda doubting that right now. SilverserenC 01:12, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
Could you make a DYK out of it. Something along the lines of "DYK that a typhoid outbreak was caused by a church meeting in Monark Springs, Missouri"?--TalkToMecintelati 03:10, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

I was literally just looking through the ghost towns of Missouri and saw this one.--TalkToMecintelati 03:08, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Ooo, that's going to be a bit more difficult, since most of the results are going to be about Arlington, Texas. SilverserenC 03:11, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
Here's a Helpful link [3]--TalkToMecintelati 03:12, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
And now i'm confused. That was a census taken from 2000...so when did it become a ghost town? SilverserenC 03:17, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
Township, not an incorporated city?--TalkToMecintelati 03:39, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
Ah, so the surrounding area still has people, but the actual city of said name is empty? That's really weird. And the Arlington in Texas is still giving me trouble, since it's throwing a lot of stuff at me that's irrelevant. I've come across a few things of interest though. I'll have to look a bit more. SilverserenC 03:41, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

See above. :)--TalkToMecintelati 03:51, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Userpage strangeness

Hi Silver seren, I hit your userpage recently and noticed that something in the formatting of that page causes your 'toolbox' links in the left bar to disappear (things like contributions and logs). Do you know what is doing it? Is it that you are transcluding a subpage or something? Thanks! Syrthiss (talk) 16:08, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

No, actually, I don't. I wasn't the one that set up the toolbox and everything though, Kkrouni did it all for me, but he's sadly retired since then. So, I admittedly have little knowledge on how to change anything with it. SilverserenC 16:10, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
Hmm, ok. Thanks! Syrthiss (talk) 16:12, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

Abusive language

Thanks for your analysis of the situation in ANI. I notice your own concerns are followed by even more flippant behaviour from Kintetsubuffalo, Seb az86556, etc followed by even worse abusive language from Teresa Knott, as well as editing the discussion after it was closed, thinking it all a joke. It appears that some people really are above the law. This is true in real life, and sadly seems true in Wikipedia. Real life I cannot opt out from, but Wikipedia I can. 82.152.216.15 (talk) 17:24, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

That discussion is now over, regardless, but you're welcome. But, next time, in terms of the Ged UK situation, you really should just wait a couple of hours for a situation to sort itself out, instead of having long drawn out discussions in the interim that will, ultimately, not lead anywhere. SilverserenC 19:03, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

ANI BLPN

Thanks for responding at ANI [4]. You appear to be taking the accusations at face value. If not, I can point out the inaccuracies. I don't want to respond at ANI if you've not looked at the validity of the accusations. Also, are these the worst of the accusations, the only ones you think are valid, or something else?

I do tend to be aggressive in how I handle WP:RPA and WP:TALKNO. It's probably been years since I looked at WP:RTP, which isn't even a guideline. While removing comments is still a matter of debate, collapsing sections is not that I'm aware. I backed down from such editing when it became apparent that it wasn't helping (discussions here and here).--Ronz (talk) 21:19, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

The problem is that the comments that you were warring over really didn't seem like personal attacks at all. Besides the fact that they weren't personal attacks against the BLP subject. It was a discussion about his reliability, obviously people are allowed to say that, no, he is not. And it just seems like you were removing those comments that were saying no and trying to stifle discussion that was going against what you wanted.
Furthermore, you should really have these questions and conversations at ANI. Having them on people's talk pages makes it seem like you are hiding and trying to go around the process of things. Respond there and make your case there, not here. SilverserenC 21:40, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for following up. You appear to have changed the subject to the BLPN dispute now. The discussion is still open and I've indicated I will continue discussions here.
I prefer side conversations for what I think might be nothing but side conversations. --Ronz (talk) 21:47, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to the Bacon Challenge 2011

Hi, Silver seren, and welcome to the Bacon Challenge 2011! The goal of this event is to expand as much bacon-related content as possible, so get started whenever you can! A side event to the Bacon Challenge is the Bacon WikiCup 2011, an event where participants in the Bacon Challenge have a chance to score points for creating and expanding bacon-related content, all while trying to score as high as they can. Be sure to submit all your bacon-related contributions to the submissions page in order to score points. At the end of the Cup, the winner will get a nice trophy along with all other participants receiving a medal for their efforts (virtual, of course; don't go waiting by your mailbox for it). For any questions or comments regarding the Challenge, please head on over here, and for any questions or comments relating to the Cup, go here. Thanks and good luck. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 00:28, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

By the way, is there any particular country or state that you wish to represent in the Bacon WikiCup? Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 01:25, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Um...Texas, I suppose? :P SilverserenC 04:29, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Great, I've added it into the score chart. Thanks, ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 02:35, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Wolfowitz

So guess what he does as soon as I close the ANI. You wanna set this straight with him and maybe ask him why he blanks everything I've ever put on his talk page? Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 19:58, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

Eh, i'd rather not, since we have a little bit of a history. He's disliked me ever since the Dawson AfD. SilverserenC 20:02, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
So in other words, what we have is an editor being a single-minded, bullheaded, tendentious douchebag and no one can be bothered to do anything about it. Does no one see this as a problem? Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 21:30, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
While I won't comment on any specific users, it's been my experience that established users only end up getting in trouble when they finally make an extremely egregious error that can't be covered up by the user's allies. SilverserenC 21:52, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
Oh, sort of like me. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 03:02, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Why did you remove the information that I had added to the article? And why did you make the remark "rv newb test"? SilverserenC 18:51, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

I apologise. I mixed up your edit with the one before yours (which was indeed vandalism). -- Rmrfstar (talk) 00:10, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Award of Good Fellowship

Good Fellowship Award
I am honored to present you with this Award of Good Fellowship for your courtesy to another editor in improving the article White Gold (1927 film). Encouraging another's continued participation through positive and supportive action is one of the surest ways to both keep new editors and to make Wikipedia a better place... and you have done both. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 07:19, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
I have never seen this award before. :o (I'll have to make sure to use it for others sometime). And, thanks! Helping reference films (and books) is rather fun for me, since it's quite interesting to read about and you know exactly what type of coverage you're looking for (i.e. reviews). It gets a lot more murky with articles on people or other topics. SilverserenC 17:00, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
I played with templates and images and created this one myself, as no other quite expressed what I think need be said. Feel free to cut and paste the award from above and simply change the text to meet specific needs. Looks pretty cool and exemplifies what Wikipedia is supposed to be all about: community and fellowship. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 19:07, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
