Welcome![edit]

Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, SilenceDoogood! I am Slapsnot and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Hey Thanks Slapsnot! I just now figured out how to respond. Love Wikipedia, have used it for years as reference, and decided to dabble in a few contributions. I have a book on wiki, "Wiki for Dummies" but it's 2007. Thanks for all your hard work. SilenceDoogood (talk) 10:28, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
p.s. is there any way to erase my I.P. in the history section? I forgot to log in first before editing with the tildes!  :-)
I guess the IP address is stuck. If it's really serious privacy-wise, maybe you could ask an administrator to replace the IP with your user name. Otherwise, it looks like you're well aware of the benefits of creating an account, as described at Wikipedia:Why create an account?#Reputation and privacy...--ospalh (talk) 11:21, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Silence. Its my pleasure! I'm sorry, but one couldn't delete edits, one can only revert them. Unfortunately your IP would be listed for this edit, and you wont be able to change it. One more thing to remember is, Wikipedia talk pages are most of the time pretty busy. So to keep posts organised, we respond with :'s in front of our replies. I automatically added them to your replies. This message of mine is the forth message, so there is four :'s in front of it. If you reply again, there would be five. Just ask if you find something difficult. Regards, Slapsnot (talk) 11:33, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Flying Tiger Line Flight 66[edit]

Hi. I've started to do some works on Flying Tiger Line Flight 66, too. I've added an infobox, moved it to the more precise name, (The old name still works as a redirect). I'm not all that experienced at creating whole articles myself. So I'm taking hints from the manual of style mentioned above and from Wikipedia:WikiProject Aviation/Aviation accident task force/page content, how an accident page should look like.--ospalh (talk) 11:31, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation[edit]

Your upload of File:CompleteAntiFedup.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
