Welcome![edit]

Hello, Shkd, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as River + wolf, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on River + wolf, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Response to recent speedy deletion[edit]

Hi NawlinWiki, Regarding the speedy deletion of the "river + wolf" page, I worked very closely with 2 similar pages of companies in the same field (1) (2), in order to write according to the rules. In addition there are a lot of references, interesting external links, and a meaningful list of "big" and important companies that can be of interest for the public. Can you guide me how can I write a wiki page on this subject that will be approved? Thanks! shkdShkd (talk) 16:07, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

FYI - As the page and it's history are hidden, I don't know if you left the above message on talk:River + wolf. That was where the above message should have gone. The person responsible for validating the wp:speedy deletion and deleting the page would not look here on your talk page. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 17:26, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Also, you can develop articles in your sandbox. Create a page off of your user page (User:Shkd) such as User:Shkd/River + wolf. I'd recommend adding a link on your user page to your sandboxes. If you feel that River + wolf is something worth your time and there is significant content that was deleted, you could request an wp:administrator to move it to your sandbox. See wp:Requests for administrator attention. At least I believe this could be done. If you are going to do this, don't create that page otherwise the admin would need to delete the content and probably wouldn't move it until after a discussion with you (and a waste of time for the admin). Suggestions:

  • Add a {{infobox writer}}. Or, if inadequate, a {{Infobox person}} which is more flexible but harder to use.
  • best known for her worldwide performance of epics and myths, as well as her work in verbal branding. This statement in the lede does not appear to be supported by wp:citation or in the body. Please cite using wp:RS.
  • The second sentence in the lede should also have citations. This sentence makes her sound interesting to me and its expansion would be something I would read.
  • You can reuse citations. See WP:REFNAME for more info.
  • Not that I see any problems, but be sure to use an encyclopedic wp:tone, avoid wp:puffery
  • If you want more than technical help (from me), I would recommend asking at the wp:teahouse
