Hello !!

Thanks for always correcting all information. However, I have some questions. 1. you informed that "Starring" and "leading role" is the same and including Xu's appearance on credits is unnecessary so Don't we need to specify when sometimes he may act as a leading role or supporting role ?

2. About Zhaofeng, Isn't Zhao surname and feng is first name. It should be written by Zhao Feng, Shouldn't it. Or am I misunderstood?

sorry, I don't know how to contact you so I left messages here

thanks

Beyoursky "Starring" has the same meaning as "leading role". If you want to indicate if he's the main lead, you can remove the "starring" part otherwise it will become redundant. In fact, Xu is only a second lead on the The Evolution of Our Love but since he's still a part of the main cast, it's okay but it would be better if it's indicated as "Second lead" instead of "Starring". If it's a supporting role, just write "Supporting character" or "Cast member" or if it's just a "Cameo". I'm not the one who wrote the information about "Zhaofeng/Zhao Feng" so you should feel free to change that if you think you're right. Shanella12345 (talk) 5:09 AM, 30 September 2017 (UTC)

/* Impact and influence */[edit]

Hi @Shanella12345:

May I ask you some advices? I added additional informations about impact and influence in BTS V's page. HERE'S the details i added.

In November 2016, V gave a whole new meaning to the color "purple". The phrase "I purple you" was made by V during BTS fan meeting. It is now becoming a real sentence that is used by people all around the world. V said, "Purple is the last color of the rainbow colors, so it means to trust and love each other for a long time." After this event, "I purple you." had been translated into multiple languages and V's words quickly united fans across the globe. The term became globally popular, got registered in the official Naver Korean dictionary and Urban dictionary, and also got acknowledged by UNICEF, celebrities and media such as NBC, GMA, Janet Jackson, and Jimmy Fallon. In July 2018, Henrietta H. Fore, the Executive Director of UNICEF, shared a video on UNICEF's website of her saying, "We here at UNICEF, purple you!". I purple you has become a global campaign adopted by the United Nations' UNICEF, and Howie Mandel, who is known for his appearance in 'America's Got Talent', also used "I purple you" on his social media account in September 2018.[30][31][32]

When BTSxLINE collaboration happened, the members of BTS created their own original characters. Soon after their release to the public V's character Tata became the most popular among BTS fans and non-fans. K-media wrote an article about Tata being the best seller of BT21 products. Tata is so popular, that many stores had to double stock its product due to high demand. Not only Tata became popular, but when Line and BTS started telling the backstory of the BT21 characters, V's character Titi (Tata's little sister) rapidly became a trending topic and one of the most awaited and talked about characters.[33][34]

In December 2018, BTS collaborated with PLAY UP Contact Lenses. Even with its unusual color, the contact lenses V advertised became Top 3 of the best selling lenses in the site. V's contact lenses were also the first to sold out among BTS members.[35]

In October 2018, news spread worldwide about V buying 2 paintings from a Dallas painter on his 60s holding his first exhibition. This simple act changed artist Marc Dominus's life forever, as fans started to request to buy replicas from the paintings sold to V and media started to contact him for interviews. He even opened an online sale and donated to UNICEF because of the good influence V left.[36][37]

In 2019, V has emerged as representative figure for "singer". He was published in a new elementary school textbook designated by Gyeonggi Office of Education, which was given to 5th and 6th grade elementary school student. His photo used to describe job as a singer, under a chapter entitled "The work people do". The textbook is known to have been revised in the revised edition of the new year to coincide with the times when Psy was in the textbook until last year.[38][39]

In February 2019, V was spotted at the airport after return from BTS concerts in Japan, holding a book titled “The Power Of Words”. His impact was instant, making the book from a small publisher to immediately shot up to best seller list in a sudden out of stock situation, and continuously sold out. The book became so popular that many booksellers began to advertise it as “BTS V’s book”. The author changed his Instagram profile to the picture of V with his book and thanked him publicly. HanseongB, the publisher of the book in return for what V impact did, they released a special edition that change the cover design to purple, and use "I purple you" in the books next publication.[40][41][42]

Anyway, DanielleTH has no problem with it, both you and DanielleTH didn't removed it, but only Ukiss2ne14lyfe said it was fancruft and removed whole of it. Shouldn't we accept majority opinions? This is what she said "No one cares about that kind of stuff except his fans, and this is not a fan board so it should not be included. I think if worked in better some of it could be mentioned, but not whole paragraphs on it. Jungkook's page mentions his sold out downy, although his is more mentioned due to the raise in stocks it caused"

I personally think it's not fancruft, but may be only about contact lenses is not so important much, and could be considered as fancruft.

As for the rest, I can rephrase it( I will discuss and working with an English speaking person), and add more reliable sources like you suggested on V's talk page. Is it fine like that? please tell me what's your opinion. Thank you Samekizofu (talk) 07:07, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Samekizofu:I have no problem with "The Power of Words" to be included but I think it should be rephrased with proper resources. The rest are fancruft. But I suggest you to address it to V's talk page before you add it again. I've visited BTS' Jungkook's page and I think the thing about V-live and his tweets are considered fancruft but as I'm not a regular editor there, I didn't remove it. —Shanella12345 (talk) 10:25, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
For a second thought, I also agree with "I purple you." to be included but limit it to only 1-2 sentences; maybe something like how V coined that phrase. —Shanella12345 (talk) 11:21, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Shanella12345: Hi, thank you so much for your reply. I will rephrased them and give proper references.(I have Naver sources but since there're English articles available so I added those instead. Really have no idea that it's not reliable and shouldn't be add. Or may be should I add both from Naver and english sources?)

Anyway, about "representative figure for "singer", published in a new elementary school textbook" is also fancruft? I think it's really his influence and impact. Also "Tata being the best seller of BT21 products. Many stores had to double stock its product due to high demand." as well

For Jungkook page, I also agree with you about Vlive and tweet that its a fancruft. If Tweet in Jungkook's page is not considered fancruft I can add in V's page as well then. Since V also has many records in Twitter. Thank you Samekizofu (talk) 12:47, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I actually added the "representative figure for singer" on textbook before but Ukiss2ne14lyfe considered it as fancruft so I just let it be. I think adding one reference is enough if it has the same content. I suggest reading WP:FAN or seeking advice to Ukiss2ne14lyfe's talk page as I'm also confused regarding Jungkook's and V's article. —Shanella12345 (talk) 13:27, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Shanella12345: I'm confused too. I will discuss about all these with Ukiss2ne14lyfe. You should join too, but please stay on my side.I really need your support to debate with her. Thank you so much. Samekizofu (talk) 10:03, 25 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
