Primary sources[edit]

Hari,

That is a primary source and what you are doing is Original research. To add that information, please add a source that says "Valmiki Ramayan says such and such". Like a history book or a linguistic book. In wikipedia, we cannot interpret/research on our own (even if it happens to be true). We can only report what other experts say. I am removing your additions again.--Sodabottle (talk) 03:11, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

To be clear again. I am not against the edit per se. Only the source. It should not be the Ramayan itself, but another book that says "vamiki ramayan says so". It is a policy in wikipedia, that we dont interpret primary sources ourselves. I have no objection if you add it back with another book source that confirms it.-Sodabottle (talk) 03:19, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Dont revert my edits again. you are violating wikipedia policy. if you continue to do so, you will be blocked--Sodabottle (talk) 18:34, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
OOPS that was my mistake. i didnt see you have add a secondary source. Once again i apologise. dont mind my earlier warning--Sodabottle (talk) 18:36, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sure I will do add my signature, I forgot to do that. Haribabu.P 05:44, 20 September 2011 (UTC)

Hello[edit]

Hello Prabhu, I am trying to expand the Tamil Brahmi article. The uesr page says you like to take photohraphy. can you kindly get some Tamil Brahmi pictures from Tamil Nadu at some point in the future ? Thanks Kanatonian (talk) 05:38, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sure Kanatonian, I will update photos of Brahmi scripts as soon as possible.Haribabu.P 06:00, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Mahadevan's articles mention some Jaina villages closer to Chennai that still seem to have Tamil Brahmi inscriptions, that may be easy for you other than going to Matirai. Kanatonian (talk) 13:10, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. In Platinum, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page GSI (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Tirumala temple etymology[edit]

The citations you provided are not relevant to the etymology section. Dravidian languages is mentioned and Tamil is also a Dravidian language. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.210.160.231 (talk) 16:38, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
