A tag has been placed on Greg garman requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.  Btilm  05:56, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

November 2009[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Greg garman. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 05:57, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Greg Garman requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

A tag has been placed on File:Selena gomez live.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

Selena Gomez & the Scene[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia,
You have made some great contributions to Selena Gomez & the Scene.
Please review Wikipedia:Verifiability for a better understanding of appropriate sources for reference citation. Many Thanks & have a Wonderful day.—Iknow23 (talk) 23:10, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

YouTube[edit]

I've had to remove a lot of additions that you made to the Selena Gomez and the Scene article. YouTube videos can rarely be used. The only time they can be is if they are posted by a user that is confirmed to both be reliable and to own the copyright to the material that they have posted. All of your references were to things posted by fans, and those things were posted in violation of the copyright.—Kww(talk) 20:08, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Certifications[edit]

Please don't add certifications to articles unless they are listed on the official website for the certifying agency. In the case of the US, http://www.riaa.org/goldandplatinumdata.php?table=SEARCH is the appropriate place to look. You can find a list of certification sources at WP:GOODCHARTS. Unfortunately, "Selena's mom said so" is not a good enough source for Wikipedia. WP:RS is something that you should probably read over.—Kww(talk) 22:22, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Was there some part of this message that you didn't understand?—Kww(talk) 19:59, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:01, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

As I said on the talk page, as I have said in edit summaries, as I have said here, as multiple editors have said to you: read WP:RS. You can't use Wikipedia as a source. You can't use blogs as a source. You can't use fansites as a source. You can't use Twitter as a source. You generally can't use YouTube as a source. Please read WP:RS and follow it. Continually adding this kind of material will be considered disruptive, and will eventually lead to you being blocked.—Kww(talk) 18:24, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page Ethan Robert. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. -download ׀ sign! 06:13, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

cut-and-paste move[edit]

Do not move articles by cutting and pasting. Doing so causes licensing problems. In addition, Wikipedia style will use a lower-case "the". It doesn't matter what the artist uses.—Kww(talk) 04:40, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Associated acts[edit]

Please read Template:infobox musical artist, where it defines the rules for "associated acts". The sources you provide must establish that one of those criteria are met. Your sources show single collaborations, which do not qualify as "associated acts".—Kww(talk) 05:11, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Selena-Gomez-And-The-Scene-Concert.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

The article Fairs & Festivals Tour (Selena Gomez & the Scene) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This concert tour as a tour is not notable. No need to have a list of every concert date of every artist, whether they are grouped as a tour or not. Fails WP:N.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Fram (talk) 07:19, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Selena gomez and the scene naturally the remixes ep cover.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Selena gomez and the scene naturally the remixes ep cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

File copyright problem with File:Uk naturally single cover.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Uk naturally single cover.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

Because you used a fair use rationale with your upload, the recommended copyright tag is {{non-free album cover}}. Please add this to the image and remove the speedy delete template ({{di-no license}}).

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Image Screening Bot (talk) 23:59, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Naturally music video still ethan selena.png[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Naturally music video still ethan selena.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 00:12, 16 June 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 00:12, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Naturally covers[edit]

You have been warned once on your page and multiple times in edit summaries on [[Naturally (Selena Gomez & the Scene song) to stop adding the covers as they fail WP:NFCC #8, and are just variations of the same cover. License tagging for File:Selena gomez and the scene meet and greet.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Selena gomez and the scene meet and greet.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 03:06, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Fictional Vegetarian/Vegan Characters, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages American Beauty, Year of the Dog and Jurassic Park (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
