Orphaned non-free image (Image:Donna-the-hippo.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Donna-the-hippo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 16:42, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Crush insert.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Crush insert.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 11:21, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I moved "Fly Like Me" back to "Fly like Me". Prepositions are uncapitalised per WP:CAPS and in this case, "like" is used as a preposiiton. Spellcast (talk) 09:12, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just Fine[edit]

That cover is for the official UK CD release of "Just Fine", taken from HMV's web site. They will be selling the official release of it, so don't say my cover is fake, when it will be used for the commercial CD release of the single. I have yet to see the cover on her official web site used on any physical release. Maybe YOU should THINK ABOUT IT!

Here is the link to the release of "Just Fine", which contains all of the details about the single release: [1]

Detours references[edit]

Hi there. Regarding this edit, it is generally accepted convention, wherein if a standard article section (such as External links, or References) contains only one element, the header noun is changed to singluar. Cheers! - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 20:21, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

re: discipline[edit]

I didn't add the tracklist. I went there and found it like that. I only edited the album cover, then wikipedia came and made it smaller. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stephen1108 (talkcontribs) 23:21, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Detours release dates[edit]

Hi, I noticed you put multiple release dates in the infobox. Only the earliest known date that the album was released should be specified there (in this case the Japanese release on 30 Jan). WP:ALBUM states that later release dates should be mentioned in a Release history section which I have created. Thanks - Phildev (talk) 02:34, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Daylight"[edit]

Hello. The reason for removing J-Wave is, that this is absolutely NO official singles chart. J-Wave is a single radio chart, released by a radio station based in Tokio. And by the way: Tokio a metropolis and no country.

Noboyo —Preceding comment was added at 17:34, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry but J-Wave does not meet the Wikipedia guidelines. Check the [[J-Wave] entry on WP; it says: J-WAVE has set up its own airplay charts, which tallies the songs were played the most during that week on its own station. Note: These should not be confused with the Japanese single charts, Oricon. Oricon has its own national airplay charts here.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Kid Rock - All Summer Long.ogg}[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Kid Rock - All Summer Long.ogg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Image copyright problem with Image:Funhousepink.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Funhousepink.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Enjoy the Ride (song)[edit]

WP:NSONGS requires that a single has charted before it can receive an article. The only chart this song appears on is the Bulgarian Top 40, a fake chart listed at WP:BADCHARTS. Until you can demonstrate that this song has appeared on a reliable chart, please do not restore the article.—Kww(talk) 17:36, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First, never accuse an editor that has made changes within guidelines of vandalism. I am not a vandal, and I do not vandalise. Your argument is a variation of WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS ... just because there are other songs that violate guidelines is not a reason to allow this one to exist. Whenever I find an article that violates WP:NSONGS, I redirect it. It's as simple as that. If you want this article to exist, find a reliable chart that lists it.
As for now, I have nominated the song for formal deletion. You can find the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Enjoy the Ride (song). Remember ... deleting an AFD notice is vandalism, and doing so can get you blocked.
In the future, please learn to respect guidelines, and you will find your editing on Wikipedia to more effective and productive.—Kww(talk) 19:28, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Please read WP:NPA, and stop insulting other editors. I have nothing "against" this article. It doesn't follow guidelines, and has to be deleted. Happens to thousands of articles a day.—Kww(talk) 19:30, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

December 2008[edit]

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Enjoy the Ride (song). Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. Fair use rationale for File:Jaxx-raindrops.ogg[edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve.
