Hi Seikyo! I see you have some questions about sourcing an article you want to create about Aoi (Japanese singer).

Sources are tricky! Here's 2 very important Wikipedia rules to read... WP:RS and WP:NOTE. Another important one is WP:NPOV. There are many others as well, so I suggest a look at Help:Wikipedia: The Missing Manual, and hopefully you won't get too discouraged about how long it is (an online book about Wikipedia).

To answer the question you asked, the singer's own website is usually NOT considered a reliable source, though sometimes there are exceptions. Take a look at how Wikipedia articles are referenced, the way I learned was to look at a big article with lots of references, and copy what they did. It's also important to add a this: ==Sources== (look at the coding with the equal signs in edit mode) and then

{ { Ref list } } (execept all one solid word, I split it up here so it will appear, otherwise it is invisible and just lists your sources nicely)

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment.
