In this case, whist I don't dispute that your website links are probably well-meaning and added in good faith, unfortunately Wikipedia's policy on External links normally to be avoided states, 1. Any site that does not provide a unique resource beyond what the article would contain if it became a Featured article. I cannot really see much content on your website that is sufficiently definitive or original that could not be included in the articles themselves and hence the external links are inappropriate.

More about links[edit]

A link specifically about blacksmithing in the Royal Navy might be appropriate for the Blacksmith article, but your link was removed because it was for the exhibit as a whole and therefore didn't seem to be about blacksmithing. A seemingly irrelevant external link, even for a registered charity, is likely to be considered spam and removed. In general, you should only add links which add relevant information to an article that is not already present in the article. --Eastmain 14:34, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
