- I understand that but it is a national event worth mentioning. As for the karaoke book, it was not an attempt to promote it. It's been out 23 years. It was mentioned to give the mention of National Karaoke Week backgrround and credibility. - Thanks. I'm not sure what you mean by credible sources. We started it as mentioned earlier and merely mentioned publication of the book as that credible source. We didn't think the cook had commercial value as it was written so long ago. The only other source, if you can call it that, is Crain's and they published our announcement of National Karaoke Week based on the same.
