Orphaned non-free media (File:EMF Logo 2010.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:EMF Logo 2010.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:14, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there! I noticed, via page curation, that you'd moved this into main space. I've gone through and nuked a bunch of promotional stuff, and sorted out multiple issues with the article. At the moment, I'm not convinced this artist meets WP:NMUSIC (or WP:GNG), but this is basically due to the claims of notability not being properly referenced. If you could find WP:RS references for the following sentence, then I'll be happy with it passing WP:NMUSIC:

  • In the summer of 2011, Frankie DeCarlos's EMPIRE project was listed on the 54th Grammy Awards entry list for nominations six times.

I know you didn't write this article, but in future, please ensure you don't move articles from userspace into mainspace without checking them - there was a huge amount of problems with it, and it still needs more references, and this is why it failed an AfC two years ago. I'm more than willing to help you get this article up to speed though! Lukeno94 (talk) 11:27, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Based on the lack of any sources, and the fact this album is, as yet, unreleased, I've redirected it to the artist. I suggest you write a better article in userspace, with reliable sources, and then move it to mainspace when the album is released. :) Lukeno94 (talk) 08:03, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
