June 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to [[:Exploration Mission 1]], did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.

I just wanted to make sure you understand why your recent edits are being reverted. In EM-1 there were a couple things I saw that were not necessary or inappropriate. You removed cited content in the similar missions section and replaced it with uncited material. Always cite your sources and be careful when removing relevant, cited content. See WP:CITE for more on citing sources. Also you removed square braces from red links. Red links that could potentially support an article do not need to be removed. See WP:REDDEAL for information on how to correctly respond to red links. If you have any questions you can consult the links I provided and the links in the welcome message above or ask me on my talk page. --Cincotta1 (talk) 14:43, 3 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2017 election voter message[edit]

Hello, Soumyabratabhat8974. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
