Oregon Coast Trail[edit]

Thank you for improving Oregon Coast Trail. Your first edit to the article updated the link you intended, but also added four tildes (~) near the beginning, perhaps as a result of pushing the signature button. (Four tildes are replaced at "save" time with your signature and timestamp.) Your subsequent edit (thank you for trying) didn't quite remove all the signature text: it left " (UTC)". A leading blank is the wikimethod of displaying monospaced text (subtle, isn't it?). That was why the lead looked strange. No need to apologize for learning wikiediting—we've all been there. It truly is the thought that matters. Go ahead and experiment: to limit the consequences of experiments, use the "show preview" button (instead of "save page") to see what happens!

I've left a whole lot of links for you to refer to at the top. Following and reading them all takes hours and hours, though I suspect wikis will be around for awhile, so it will be endlessly valuable knowledge. Again, welcome! —EncMstr (talk) 16:40, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
